NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave a bit to be desired, but are very consistent for Kandi Peach. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, but there’s plenty of background noises that are almost all in the form of the others at the party and Sinclair commenting to the performers as well as the people helping him. The video is pretty good. There’s a hint of grain, but there’s very little camera shake or bad camera motion. The lighting is fairly inconsistent, with some bad over lighting in places. There’s also a discolored strip at the bottom edge of the screen.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu gives you a few simple choices, with only the video samples letting you know where you’re going for sure. It’s a bit confusing, since if you click on the clip from the movie you go to a chapter menu rather than the movie. For the movie, there’s the small unlabeled arrow in the bottom right corner. The chapter menu is pretty simple, and lets you choose a place in the movie based on a few stills which sometimes have descriptions to go with them.

The Feature

Sinclair, now sporting bleached hair, starts things out introducing himself and panning around the party. He moves around to introduce a few people before Rene, a nice looking middle aged brunette, and Kandi, a heavyset bottle blonde, get to work on a mattress.

Scene 1 - Rene, Kandi Peach, and several black and white guys

Although the editing is a little rough, that’s easily forgivable here as an amateur movie and the limitations there are that go along with that. I’m not much of a gangbang guy, but I really enjoyed this one.

Scene 2 - Kandi Peach and a black guy

This is an okay bonus scene. Kandi gets into it pretty good, but the oral went on for a little too long for my tastes. At the end she talks about how it was supposed to just be a blowjob scene, but she really needed to get fucked. I’m more than happy that Kandi felt that way, and it did help the scene out for me. Unfortunately, the scene didn’t have a lot of chemistry, which I think was mostly because Sinclair focused the camera so heavily on Kandi. This is an okay extra scene.

Kandi Peach 25: Kandi’s Black and White Gangbang is a very nice amateur gangbang. Kandi takes on three or four guys at a time for most of the action, and really seems to shine throughout this one. Kandi has been fairly hit or miss for me from the few movies of hers I’ve seen, but here I can easily see why she has a fanbase. She gets into the action very well and Rene does a nice job as well as they start things out. There’s a very fun feeling to the action, and Kandi really seems to shine throughout this one with Rene adding to it nicely. The second scene didn’t work as well for me, but once again Kandi does appear to get into it pretty well. Throughout it all, Sinclair does a nice job with the camera work, and unlike many guys who get a little vocal behind the camera, actually helps things out. You can tell that he’s having a fun time too, but he doesn’t overdo things by yapping too much. This is a pretty good amateur release that does a nice job of showing real people having fun with an interracial gangbang.

Currently, many of Kandi Peach’s DVDs can be found online for around $20. If you’re a fan of interracial gangbangs, this one may very well be worth the money. The technical aspects are slightly below average, but there’s a very fun feeling to the action that made it a winner for me. As with most amateur DVDs, there isn’t a lot of effort put into the extras, but there is some. This is a pretty good amateur DVD.

Note to Kandi Peach: You did a very nice job with this one, and did a very good job showing the hope and enjoyment many of us look for with amateur releases.
