| Prologue There was some serious hype surrounding this release. This might have been everything it was hyped to be if the narrative had been more than a voice over and imagery of guns, drugs and money. Some fuzzy shots of HJ being chased in an alley, then beaten, I guess establishes Slayer and Nat as tough guys, as well as shots of Slayer brandishing a gun. Pull quotes occasionally adorn the screen, but would have been more effective if there had been some face to face drama instead of, or at least in addition to, Slayer's storytelling. I do see why he and Nat want to hold onto this life they lead. Everything leads to sex with hot women. Whether they're investigating or just chillin', they're up to their balls in pussy. I wasn't crazy about the video effects that were used, and the Brazil shot is more what I'm used to, but the ladies were putting out happily here, so at least the movie was strong that way.
