NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty average for a homemade movie. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, but there are a few minor background noises throughout the movie with some of them helping the moods. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks okay. The lighting might be a little low and there's noticeable grain throughout the movie, but Kris does very well keeping the camera fairly stead with most of the movie being shot by hand rather than using a tripod.

Watermark Warning: Although the normally don’t bother me much, there is a small and tasteful watermark warning that stays in the lower right corner for the first scene and the upper right corner for the second scene. This made it very easy to filter out for me, and quite honestly, I didn’t notice it unless I thought about it.

Menus: The menus are pretty simple. The main menu keeps Shot at Home’s usual style with their logo and a photo from the movie. The chapter menu is also simple, and lets you choose where to go in the movie based on six stills.

The Feature

Julie and Kris 4 is another nice homemade release from Shot at Home, with Julie being very easy on the eyes and more than easy to follow from here into some of her other releases.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, most of Shot at Home's DVDs can be found on their website for around $20. If you like a lot of blowjobs and anal cream pies, this one might be worth the money for you (although I found it a little heavy on the blowjobs). The technical aspects are nicely done for a homemade release, and as usual with Shot at Home there's a touch of effort put into the extras. This is a pretty good release.
