INTRODUCTION:
By this point, I probably sound like a broken record.  After watching I don't how many of his movies, my overall conclusion is simply that Joey Silvera rocks.  I'm honestly not sure what I'll do when Joey stops shooting porn.  Other directors occasionally produce work that drives me batty, but not near as consistently, or with as much playful intensity as Joey does.  He's unique in the porn world.  The buzz on Service Animals #16 is that it is his best effort since Service Animals #10, and I have to say, if true that would be quite the accomplishment.  The cast is certainly up to the challenge.  Between Crystal Ray, Dana Vespoli, and the very much talked about Teagan, there's a lot of potential here.  I'm anxious to see if it lives up to the praise I've heard about it.

SCENE 1:

The Girl

The Girl

The Girls
Katsumi and Flower are the girls I have the least interest for in this particular movie.  That isn't to say that there aren't plenty of things to like about them.  Katsumi is an Asian girl who I've seen a few times now.  I'm certainly not her biggest fan, but that's not because she can't perform (she can), or because she doesn't have a great, petite little body (she does), it's just her face that doesn't really do much for me.  Flower is somewhat similar in that regard, although her body is not so petite.  I did enjoy her performance with Maggie Star in Service Animals #13, however.  She is a large breasted, large bootied blonde, whose face, once again, just doesn't have that spark that appeals to yours truly.  Joey has a way of changing my mind about these things, however.

The Action

The Girls
Teagan is getting all kinds of attention these days.  I have yet to see in her action, but I will say this.  Her picture on the box cover is absolutely breathtaking.  She has honey blonde hair, a very pretty smile, and perfect perky titties that make you glad to be alive.  Crystal Ray is a veteran of Joey's movies, and has established herself as not only a very pretty blonde, but also as quite the nasty performer--disturbingly so in some cases.  In any case, this scene has great potential to be a scorcher, and if it is, it will round out a disc that's full of them.

There's some awkwardness, and lack of believability about Teagan's dominance, but for me it wasn't enough to detract from my enjoyment of it, and it was understandable given Teagan's age and her short time in the industry. The fact is, if you like petite, pretty girls who participate in some really nice, edgy sex, you can't get much better than these two. This isn't the most well rounded scene on the disc, but Teagan alone offers up enough pure eye-candy to give any other girl in the video (or in all of porn for that matter) a run for their money.

PRODUCTION QUALITY:
This is outstanding work. Joey is at the top of his form in terms of showing the girls off, from the way they dress to the way he shoots them. The video is crisp, and even the girls who haven't impressed me before somehow manage to show all their potential and magic here.

DVD QUALITY:
The DVD is typical of Evil Angel's excellent production standards.

EXTRAS:
Besides the regular Evil Angel extras which include a cast list by scene, videographies, a fetish menu, and production stills, the disc offers about 31 minutes of extra footage from all the scenes. The highlights include some outstanding extra footage from Roxy Heart's scene, which easily could have, and I think, should have made the final cut into the main video.  In any case, it's included, and offers everything from Roxy showing us how wet she is, to some very cool cock grinding she does on lucky bastard Trent's cock.  Overall though, the extra footage was heavy on the behind the scenes talking and interactions that really bring out the personalities of the girls.  Very very cool stuff.

OVERALL:

This is the best all around gonzo disc I've seen in quite some time. Every scene had plenty to like, and true to form, Joey Silvera even makes a believer out of me with some of the performers who haven't particularly impressed me in the past (namely Flower and Katsumi). I believe that a lot of gonzo lovers will find plenty to like here, but if I were to chose a favorite scene, it would be the first one with Roxy Jezel. I can't put my finger on it, but she was amazing. She was beautiful, nasty, fun, happy, submissive, strong, and still had an indescribable vulnerability about her that gave the scene a unique kind of magic. Denis and Tee's excellent work in the scene didn't hurt either.  Second in line was Teagan and Crystal, who played well both together and with Mr. Pete.  Teagan was every bit as gorgeous as her proponents claim, and Crystal is every bit as nasty and submissive as she has ever been. The remaining three scenes are equally outstanding in their own way, from Dana's arm-pit licking orgasm, to Roxy's hard-edged "slave girl" fuck, to Katsumi's squirt-facial. This disc was special, and deserves a place on the porn shelf of any fan who likes pretty girls, cool setups, and interactive sexual improvisation like only Joey Silvera can deliver. I've said it before, and I'll say it again--Joey Silvera rocks.
