PREFACE:
Joey Silvera--crazy kook?  Brilliant gonzo porn director?  All around decent guy who knows how to make the most of the talent he hires?  My vote is for all of the above.  As far as I'm concerned, the man seems to shoot porn specifically to satisfy yours truly.  He picks the right girls, he shows them off in the right way, he adapts his own sense of good intense sex according to the needs and desires of the girls he hires, and on top of all that he manages to infuse it with a unique humanity and interactive beauty that touches me in much more than a superficial way.  I'm not saying I break down balling like a baby when I watch Joey's work, but there are certainly moments of authentic intensity captured by his camera that defy my otherwise jaded porn viewing experience--thereby placing his work in the very top echelon of today's porn landscape.  The Service Animals series, especially, has offered many of these moments, and the cast on the cover of this volume looks as promising to me as ever.

INTRODUCTION:
Service Animals #15 boasts a damn impressive cast for any porn fan who hasn't been trapped under a rock over the past year.  Immediately my eye finds its way to Ariana Jollee, who is by far my favorite newbie of the year.  Not only is she damn gorgeous, but she's a generous and intelligent performer who has really turned in some intense scenes.  Perhaps equally impressive to me, and not as important to others, Ariana is a take-the-bull-by-the-horns kind of girl.  She's in control of her career, knows what she wants and what she's doing and is courteous and receptive to her fans.  This, along with her propensity for intensity just further solidifies my liking and respect for her.  Speaking of intensity, Ashley Blue is also in this volume.  Ashley is another firecracker of a performer who I'm always glad to see in a Joey Silvera release.  Christie is a Canadian hottie who I first saw in New Girls #5.  Although not up for as much of the rougher action like Ariana and Ashley are, Christie is anything if not INTO what she's doing.  Besides that, she's beautiful and that's a combination that's hard to beat.  Although I haven't seen her myself, I hear that Lauren Phoenix is something to behold once she gets going.  I've seen Alicia Rhodes and Alexis Malone in previous Joey efforts and look forward to more of their work here.  All in all, a kick ass cast for this volume of what I consider to be the best gonzo series in porn today.

The Girl
Alicia is an English girl dressed in a rather revealing police "uniform".  She's a nice looking blonde with largish breasts and a decent body.  She's a little more full figured than I would like, but that's a relatively minor quibble.  She does have a nice face and her assets are shown off well here.

The Action

Although this wasn't quite the scene I wanted it to be, I admit that I had unusually high hopes.  That said, this was a great scene with two up-for-anything girls that look great getting ass-pumped and throat fucked.  Ariana is the submissive, and she plays that role very nicely while managing not to turn into a puddle of goo in the process.  Ashley Blue is, well... she's Ashley Blue, which is to say she's almost always a pleasure to watch for a guy who appreciates the more intense end of the sexual spectrum.  It's hard for me to pin-point the intangible shortcomings of the scene.  Perhaps it was lack of a clear direction, or simply the lack of a clear dominant, but regardless of what it was I felt it lacked that special Joey magic--even if by any other standard, I would judge the scene to be outstanding.  In any case, this was good hard sex with two gorgeous performers made to look their best.  That alone is nothing to shake a stick at, and I suspect the scene might even grow on me over time.

PRODUCTION QUALITY:
Once again, Joey's camera work is outstanding by my tastes.  He knows what I want to see better than I do, and gets in the position to make it happen.  The sound is clear and un-muddied, the setups are basic but adequate.  It's typical Joey Silvera gonzo faire.

DVD QUALITY:
Excellent picture quality is generally a characteristic of all Evil Angel discs and this one is no exception.  The DVD is well authored in the typical Evil Angel style..

EXTRAS:
Besides the Evil Angel staples such as a cast list by scene, a fetish menu, cast videographies, and production stills, there is also about 31 minutes of extra footage included on the disc.  There's a little extra from every scene.  There are lots of very cool highlights, including some really nice extra Christie footage that shows off both her personality and her beautiful body as she gets eaten out.  Alexis pees on the floor of the "jail" as she lets loose a torrent of extremely awesome dirty talk.  She also continues her verbal domination of Damien with some smoking, some foot play, and more dildo ass fucking.  Finally, there's some more girl-girl domination during Ashley and Ariana's scene.

OVERALL:
This is the best Joey disc I've seen a good long while--and that's saying something.  In fact, I'd say this ranks on par with Service Animals #10 in its combination of intensity, eye candy, and unique edge.  In fact, I would rank this one higher only because there was very little hard-core choking in comparison.  It's hard to choose a favorite scene on this disc, but for me that honor goes to Lauren Phoenix.  She gets ass reamed, pussy pounded and throat fucked without pause, and she does it while looking fantastic and encouraging the guys the whole time.  It's a scorcher of a scene for those who like walking the harder edge of domination and rough play.  Second place easily goes to Alexis and Damien for an all too unique scene that plays to my personal fem-dom fantasies like nothing I've ever seen before.  Damien clearly enjoyed the experience, and Alexis was not only a gorgeous small bodied slut-dom, she assumed the role and assumed it without reservation or apology and yet clearly enjoyed Damien at the same time.  I loved the strap on action, and the extra footage for this scene was almost worth the price of the whole disc in my eyes.  Given that many people won't appreciate that scene like I do, there's plenty more to like on this disc.  Christie once again proved that she really enjoys this line of work, and was quite the cool dirty-talking girl-dom herself.  That along with a body and face that fits my tastes to a tee, another girl named Taylor who's not too shabby either, and you get a great scene with cool spontaneity and dynamics.  Ariana and Ashley are not to be discounted by a long shot.  Their seen is outstanding as well--again on the harder edge fringe in a way that's hard for yours truly to resist.  The weakest of the scenes for me was Alicia's, and that wasn't because of the action so much as because I just don't find Alicia to be as attractive.  Overall, by my tastes, this is harder edged gonzo at its best--once again proving why Joey Silvera is one of the best and most respected directors in the business.
