Initial Expectations: I’ve normally found Fred Lincoln’s movies to be about as erotic as watching paint dry. I’m not really expecting anything different here.

Who Should Watch It : Couples looking for a movie with a light plot and some intensity to the sex

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the nastier side of Jewel.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is clear and fairly well balanced. The video has some very slight grain and the lighting is a little low at times, but there’s never anything that’s so bad that it impaired my seeing anything.

Music: The music has a techno and rock feel to it, and is so loud that you can barely hear anything from the cast. Quite a bit of the music is also easily recognizable, which also brought it down a notch for me.

Disc Problems / Complaints: The feature is spread out over two titles, and once you start the second chapter you can’t go back to any part in the earlier title. This was common in longer releases and earlier releases, but something that most companies have moved past. It gives the DVD a cheap feeling where you’re not sure if the person who did the DVD really knew what they were doing or not. It’s extremely odd here as it happens roughly 77 minutes into the movie, when there’s under twenty minutes and one scene left.

Menus: The main menu has a fun feeling that gives you a great first impression. The chapter menu is pretty standard and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Ripping off marks is supposed to be easy, even when they’re not named Mark. It’s what Jewel De’Nyle, Marty Romano, and Julian do best, even though there’s some complicated feelings between them such as Julian being in love with Jewel even though she’s not interested in him. Things get a lot more confusing, however, when Jewel falls for Lee Stone, their latest mark.

Marty Romano starts things off with waitress Ann Marie. She resists him at first, but gives in when he gives her a foot massage after she tells him that her feet are sore after working her third double shift that week. Marty flips the sign at the front door to closed before helping Ann out of her uniform. He kisses his way across her body and down to her clam, causing Ann to find energy she apparently didn’t have. She repays him with an equally energetic blowjob before climbing on to ride him in the mandatory reverse cowgirl. Marty also spears Ann from behind before decorating her amazing natural chest. It’s a really great scene that far exceeded my expectations. Marty normally doesn’t do much for me, but he and Ann Marie are so great here that I’m starting to think a lot better of him just because of this scene. He plays tenderness as well as intense sexuality, and with Ann Marie, does a great job of showing that couples sex doesn’t have to be boring.

Jewel De’Nyle takes on Billy Glide in a shrewd bargaining mood in the second scene. Jewel starts out sucking and stroking Billy’s oversized cock while also playing with his nipples. Billy tongues Jewel’s pussy and pucker in return before fucking her from behind on the hood of a car. They also get in a little missionary before Billy goes balls deep in Jewel’s ass from behind. The only thing that’s missing is the extreme nastiness, which wouldn’t seem right in a couples movie like this.

Marty Romano returns for the third scene, this time taking on cute blonde Bobbi Barrington when she insists on taking his mind off things. Marty shows some nice tenderness to start things off once again, kissing his way across Bobbi’s great body and down to part her lower lips with his tongue. Bobbi returns Marty’s oral favor with some nice sucking and stroking, complete with a bit of eye contact. She climbs up to get the mandatory reverse cowgirl out of the way before fucking her from behind. Once again things finish with a pop on the ass, but that isn’t so bad when the ass looks as good as Bobbi’s. This scene leaves me with some mixed emotions. Some of it seems a little restrained, as well as repetitive as it follows the same formula as the first scene except for the pop shot location, which I don’t like. It also has some good chemistry and energy, which saves it. In the end, it ends up as a slightly above average scene.

Next up, Jewel De’Nyle takes on in a back alley Marty Romano. She gives him a straightforward sucking and finishes things up with a small facial. It’s an average scene at best, and easily forgotten.

Julian takes on Nikita Denise in the penultimate scene. He puts the pool table to the required porn movie use by having Nikita get up there so he can tongue her twat before letting her down to see how much of his cock she can take down her throat. She gets back on the pool table for Julian to fuck her missionary style, but trades places with Julian when it’s time for her facial. It’s a pretty good scene, but it seems so stereotypical that it never got much above average.

Jewel finishes things up with Lee Stone. They kiss before he munches her muff, getting Jewel’s mouth running right away. She swallows his schlong in return and then climbs on to ride him with a bit of reverse cowgirl. Lee keeps it going fucking Jewel from behind and missionary style, and matches her energy ounce for ounce until his balls blast his nutty goodness all over her stomach. It’s not the best pop I’ve seen from Lee, but Jewel gets into it just the same. It’s a very good scene to finish things with, and gets the energy level and intensity right back up there.

Jewel De’Nyle’s Wild Ride is a surprisingly good couples porno, and much hotter than what I normally expect from Fred Lincoln. Fred’s movies normally strike me as trying to be overly tame so as to not offend anybody, as well as being afraid of the female orgasm. That doesn’t happen here. There’s plenty of intensity to the scenes, which shouldn’t be confused with nastiness. Even guys like Marty Romano, who normally seem to feel the need to shout things like “fucking cunt” at his partners, comes across as emotional here. The cast normally comes across as really enjoying sex and not holding back, which also helps things when combined with the intensity of the scenes. The story isn’t the greatest, but it works well enough to set up the scenes without just feeling like an excuse to have two people fuck all the time. The biggest problem is many of the scenes feel like they’re trying to stick to a formula despite the energy in them. The first thought through my head when Jewel and Lee got it on shouldn’t have been “Oh great, more pussy eating.”, and I shouldn’t have felt like I had already watched Bobbi Barrington’s scene! Couldn’t one of the scenes start with a blowjob? How about mixing up the positions a little more? These are small problems, but they were things that jumped out at me as the movie went on and held it back a little for me. Despite these problems, Jewel De’Nyle’s Wild Ride is a decent couples flick that’s worth checking out.

At the low end I can’t help but recommend this one to somebody looking for a couples movie. The story isn’t too bad and the sex actually has some decent feeling to it rather than feeling watered down. The transfer’s also pretty good, as are the extras.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s great to see that you can put out DVDs like this and make it so that retailers can put them out so affordable.
