The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. The camera work is smooth with most of the action being very nicely lit. There are a few shadows, but they always feel natural and never interfere with the action.

Music: There's a little music to start off each scene. It's normally on the loud side but almost always helps out the scene.

Menus: The main menu nicely blends a bit of animation, a few clips from the movie, and a bit of the cover still for a good first impression. The chapter menu is pretty basic, and lets you choose a scene based on a clip of the scene, a chapter number (which doesn't correspond to the chapters in the movie), and the girl's name for her first chapter.

The Feature

Jesse Jane: Heat keeps things simple. Each scene has a minor little lead-in and then gets right to the hot sex while also keeping a slightly artistic feel to the scenes.

When Jesse seems lost in a fever, Jamal calls in Danny to check her out hoping that he can figure something out from what he's learned working for a doctor as a driver. This is a pretty good scene. There's great chemistry between Danny and Jesse, and they both put out some very nice effort. That said, the scene also focused on the gyno-cam shots a little much for my tastes and the editing seemed a little rough. Also, Jesse was looking a touch thin for my tastes as there were several positions where you could count her ribs all too easily. This is a pretty hot scene, but a few minor changes would have made it much nicer.

Bottle blonde Madison starts her scene out in a black rimmed green mesh dress with matching panties moving around and touching herself before Jerry arrives and starts hunting her by smell calling for his “kitty kitty”. This is a hot and fun scene. The opening is playful with some nice tease, and there's some nice chemistry that develops right away between Madison and Jerry. The action is pretty well captured, but there were many times it seemed slightly off by cutting off part of Madison or Jerry's head leaving me wonder if somebody new was behind the camera who was more used to shooting in the full frame format than the widescreen format. Thanks to some nice heat between Madison and Jerry that's a fairly minor complaint here, but it still did hold back the scene slightly. This is a hot scene that nicely keeps things going.

Brunette Kiki turns up the stereo before dancing around a staircase and is more than a little surprised when Tommy shows up and turns off the music. She lets him know how much she was missing him and gives him a little lap dance before letting him play with her pussy and suck her nipples through her dress. I was a little disappointed that there were only two positions for the fucking, and would have loved to have seen at least one more. As is, I can only hope to see more of her in the future since she's nicely impressive here.

This may be a generic opening, but Jesse and Johnny recover from it to turn out one of the best scenes in the movie.

Brunette Paris plays with her goodies in a little black and white animal print dress with white panties before Danny arrives and gives her a hard cock to suck. Once again another position would have been nice, but this is still a winner of a scene.

Jesse Jane: Heat is a pretty typical Digital Playground release, which is a good thing. You get the fun openings, nicely done teases, hot women, and slightly artistic style than by now many have come to expect. As usual, Jesse Jane delivers with plenty of energy and a great potty mouth with three scenes, and Kiki Vidis and Madison Scott join her to turn out two more nicely hot scenes. The only one who really came in short here was Paris Mayne who just seemed like she was trying too hard. That said, the camera work in some of the scenes felt a little too basic and times and some of the scenes fell slightly short due to only having two positions. Jesse Jane: Heat is a fun fuck flick, but another fifteen minutes would have helped it out nicely.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten minutes. Jesse starts out with plenty of trash talk which gets mixed with shots of the scene being shot and fun around the set. She moves on to talk about how happy she is taking on two cocks in one day and some of what she's looking forward to before Jamal chats with Paris about how she got into the business a couple weeks before and swinging. There's also a bit of her scene with Danny being shot before Jesse poses for stills and has a little fun on the shoot. Kiki is next with a bit more fooling around. This is a pretty good behind the scenes featurette. There's some nice eye candy and a bit of personality, but the final segment with Kiki felt like it could have easily been trimmed down since it wasn't too amusing. This is an above average behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. At the low end this one's a pretty good buy. The sex is hot and nicely done, but did feel like it could use just a little extra a few times. The technical aspects are well done and there's also a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a pretty good release.

Note to Digital Playground: Although they can be a little hit or miss for me, it's really nice to see you continuing to put effort into your behind the scenes featurettes.
