Well some of you might be surprised to see me reviewing a bondage dvd and I'm also surprised to see this dvd in my player as this area of sex has never really interested me. What did interest me was Jenna Jameson and what take she would have on this sexual genre. Reading the copy for this it seems Jenna shows off her dominant and submissive side in this dvd so watching this contrast hopefully will be interesting. I imagine a true bondage fan will be able to give a more informed opinion as to how successful Jenna was in conveying the nuances of the practice of bondage so I hope others will give that opinion. I'll give some impressions of what I saw watching this.

First of all Jenna points out a very important point to her and that's to find the right balance. I think she correctly points out we all have a darkside as well as a lightside and I'm not saying the darkside is "evil" but more so the side of you that pushes the envelope maybe and another key issue I saw while watching this dvd was the performers had to place incredible trust in each other. You can't do bondage and not have total faith in the person who's being dominant over you, you truly are in their hands and to give yourself over to them and any whim they might have I grant can be a total rush. I don't think I could do that but then again I've never had the opportunity plus it would take a person I truly trusted-- there's that word again! Watching the first scene I was struck at Fujiko's energy and how well she submitted to Jenna's will and I could sense just how in control Miss Jameson was but it wasn't overt or necessarily menacing, just a strong feeling that this chick was in charge and Fujiko played the submissive role as well as it could be from my point of view. Also when Jenna had her bent over her knee and spanking her with the brush I was turned on but not by the act itself but moreso by the give and take between the performers and that they each trusted each other completely and that was the turn on for me rather than Jenna spanking her ass with a brush, though Fujiko has a nice ass and Jenna had a great view of it! I was also struck by how stylish everything was, again I'm not a bondage expert so how authentic this was I'll leave up to more informed people but it was visually interesting to watch. As the scene progresses you see more bondage tools utilized and again I wasn't necessarily turned on by them on face value but more in how the performers allowed themselves to be used by those tools, total dependance from Fujiko and Jenna showing her mercy in small doses. Now there was some oral sex shot and I love watching women eat pussy so that was very much a turn on for me even with the ropes all around Fujiko's body. Jenna closes out feeling good about how well she slipped into the role of dom.

Now scene number 2 has Amber Michaels all tied up and gagged, totally helpless and who comes calling but the legend herself, Nina Hartley. This adult veteran has seen it all and her love of sex is well documented and I can totally see her being the dom she is in this scene. You see more of what we had in scene 1 with Amber now being the submissive and even with the gag in her mouth she's able to get some licking done to Nina's pussy as it's smashed over her face. Now we go to scene 3 and it's now Jenna's turn to turn herself over to the will of another, this is a fantasy of many I think to see Jenna be a submissive. Ava Vincent gets the "job" of dominating Miss Jameson. We start with some good boob shots and Ava just can't resist getting a taste plus she moves down to tease Jenna's covered pussy. The pacing and how the picture looked also creates a good backdrop for the scene's intro and you do see that pussy get some actual love and the views were good. Eva then uses a familiar device, the silver dildo to pleasure Jenna's pussy. So the scene soon ends but I was struck again at how trusting the two girls were with each other.

The last scene showcases more of the same as the 3 before it and Jenna again mentions about us all having a lightside and a darkside, how we all want to please and receive pleasure so this scene just reinforces what we've already seen. Ok so that covers the dvd and I must say the bondage stuff on the surface still doesn't turn me on bigtime but the area that did was watching the girls so fully give themselves over to the woman who was dominating them. Such trust isn't easy but when given to such a degree as was here you can get some hot visual sex and I think Jenna was pretty successful in all the scenes. Now for extras this one offers a bunch of Club Jenna promo stuff, there's a Jenna striptease, and there are some behind the scenes for this disc so I'd be curious to watch that so I hope you will as well. Finally you have what is called the Ernest Greene Documentary: Learn the Ropes. Here you get an interview with him discussing the merits of sexual domination so I'd give that a listen too, btw he's the credited director for Jenna Loves Pain. So all in all a worthy rental for those curious about bondage and Jenna makes for an appealing guide through this "taboo" area of sex.
