Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are quite artistic. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and gives the movie a very simplistic and artistic style. The lighting is very low, so that all you see is a black background, a white table, and the performers, and even the performers sometimes slip into the darkness. The camera work is very smooth, and the picture is clear, giving the movie a very deliberate look that really helps to set it apart from virtually everything else coming out of Pornoland today.

Watermark Warning:
Although I don't know of anyone who likes watermarks, I can sympathize with studios who think they're needed to protect what's theirs from piracy. There's a small and tasteful Evil Angel logo watermark in the lower right corner of this release. It's very faint and static that makes it easy to put out of one's mind. If watermarks are needed, Evil Angel is doing them right here.

The Movie:

As voluptuous brunette Harper lays on a table set for dinner, four couples (Jessie and Tommy, Karmen and Christian, Lyla and Toni, and Sara and Seth) move in to sit at their spots and quickly start kissing and playing with each other as the camera circles the action. Naturally a little food play occurs, and the couples don't waste a lot of time before moving on with oral sex, fucking, and a lot more food play. After about an hour and a half they turn their sites on Harper, leaving her in the middle of the table as they play with her, fuck her, and finally cum on her.

James Deen's 7 Sins: Gluttony strikes me as a love it or hate it type of a release. The movie didn't do a lot for me, and I found myself easily distracted and able to look away at virtually any time after about the first ten or fifteen minutes. Food play just isn't a turn on for me, and combined with the heavily artistic presentation I just couldn't get into it. At the same time, I love that James Deen is trying something different behind the camera. Gluttony strikes me as a complete art house movie, and although I've enjoyed plenty of artistic smut in the past, I can't remember the last time I saw something like this. That leaves me with a feeling that this is really a niche market porno, and one that's going to have a fair amount of people who really love it while a heck of a lot more outright hate it. James Deen's 7 Sins: Gluttony didn't do a lot for me, I'd strongly encourage anyone with even the least bit of interest in it to rent it due to how unique and different it is.

The Extras:
The photo gallery is broken down for the group, as well as each pairing. Filmographies are included for Sara, Jessie, Lyla, and Karmen. Trailers and cumshot recaps are also included, as well as a behind the scenes featurette lasting just under four minutes that seems to just grab random footage from around the set and the shooting of the movie.

Rent it before you buy it. It's very artistic and strikes me as a love it or hate it type of a movie.

Although this one didn't work that well for me, it was great to see somebody doing something different and artistic. I'm definitely looking forward to checking out more of your work behind the camera after this one!
