The Short Story

Initial Expectations: This might be my favorite Robby D. series out there. With the lineup of girls he has here I'm really looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: It's a great movie, but sadly the overall DVD lacks due to a lack of extras.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting hot and fun porn with plenty of variety

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting an all around well done DVD

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I really don't think I noticed a single flaw. The video is just as good, starting with an anamorphic widescreen presentation. There's a touch of the motion you normally have with a movie when it's shot by hand, but it never seems sloppy. It's also nicely lit with some good lighting. This is a very nice looking and sounding release.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu is okay, and works into the standard Teen America style of the boxcover mixed with a little animation and a few items. The chapter menu has a fairly generic style with a chapter number and a clip of each scene, but helps itself out by letting you know who the girl is in the first chapter of her scene each time.

The Feature

Cut off from the family fortune to live off of, Jack continues to keep himself busy with the Teen America pageant. With the help of sound guys like Jerry, Scott Nails, and superbabe Jana Cova, he runs around interviewing candidates with his video camera.

Scene 1 – Lacie Heart and Scott Nails

This is a great scene. Jana does a great job as the “sound guy” and makes the role even more fun than the guys normally do. Of course, it doesn't hurt that she looks a heck of a lot better than any of the guys and so does Holly. There's great chemistry and a very fun feeling between the girls, and that's just icing on the cake here. This is another great scene that's plenty hot and a lot of fun. With scenes like this I can't help but hope that Robby uses more female “cameramen” in future Teen America installments.

Scene 3 – Michelle B. and Jerry

Jack questions Jerry about what he was doing the last night with how rugged he's looking before turning his attention to smoking hot dirty blonde Michelle, who's not quite a teen but still hot as hell stretching out a little white tied off shirt and black bra along with her hair in braids. Scene 4 – Riley Mason and Scott Nails

Pre-tattoo Scott helps black haired Riley, who's looking a bit more goth than normal, with her black top and leads her around on a leash with her in a turquoise skirt and leopard print stockings for Jack to admire her while she answers a few questions. Jack's Teen America: Mission 17 is another excellent addition to one of my favorite series out there. Yes, it's a one trick pony, but with great chemistry and fun setups Robby D. makes it a winner almost every time. He has a great lineup of girls here, and not only mixes up some nice styles of looks with the girls but also mixes up the sex extremely well. Anal, toys, girl on girl, I really can't remember the last Jack movie where there's been this much variety to the movie, and I loved having that here. I think Riley's scene might have been the weakest for me, for the simple reason that the goth look didn't do much for me, but there really isn't a bad scene here and every one looks good enough to bust a nut by yourself or to watch with that special somebody to help with the mood for the night. If there's a complaint here, I think it's that Digital Playground took so long to bring this one out. I mean, Scott hasn't even started to get his tattoo and Holly Wellin's still a blonde! If it's that old, maybe Michelle B. really was a teenage shooting it! Jack's Teen America: Mission 17 shows once again why I think Robby D. is one of the best directors out there right now.

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Even with no real care put into the extras here, this one's worth the money. The sex is hot with a very nice variety and hot girls while the technical aspects show plenty of care. This is a borderline great DVD that's only held back by the lack of extras.

Note to Digital Playground: The only thing that held this one back was the lack of extras. With the nice care you've been putting into them lately, the lack of them really stood out here.
