The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Robby D.'s been turning out some great porn, and this series has quickly grown to become one of my favorites. I'm really looking forward to this one!

Initial Reaction: It's a little weaker than some of the other recent Teen America titles, but still a lot of fun.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good, but a little weak for what I've come to expect from Digital Playground. The audio is very nicely balanced and clear, but there's a few spots with some minor background noises. The video is the bigger problem. It's presented in anamorphic widescreen, but there's quite a few shadows that interfere with the action. It's not an isolated incident and sadly runs throughout the movie with every scene having a few annoying shadows. Thankfully Robby's camera work is steady and there's no grain, but the shadows really held things back for me.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu works together the boxcover with a bit of the standard flag animation for an okay first impression. The chapter menu borders on being generic with a small clip of each segment and a chapter menu, but then rises up by listing the name of each girl in their first segment.

The Feature

Cut off from the family fortune to live off of, Jack continues to keep himself busy with the Teen America pageant. With the help of sound guys like Christ Charming and Scott Nails, he runs around interviewing candidates with his video camera.

Scene 1 – Alicia Angel and Chris Charming

Scene 2 – Riley Mason and Tommy Gunn

This is a hot scene, but it just didn't seem to fit right for this series.

Scene 3 – Tiffany Rayne and Scott Nails

Jack's afraid he's going to lose the next gig waiting for Scott outside, but when he goes inside to go it alone he finds Scott's already there getting his knob gobbled by Tiffany, who's in a bikini and black mesh top with a little black and green skirt. Neither of them is too happy to stop and do Jack's interview, especially since Tiffany thought Scott was a judge. Scene 4 – Texas Presley and Scott Nails

This just might be my favorite scene in the movie.

Scene 5 – Katja Kassin and Chris Charming

When Jack stops by a house to interview Charlotte with sound guy Chris, he can't resist hooting at a hot ass as it struts away. Jack's Teen America: Mission 16 is another fun Jack release. The setups are a little weaker, being shorter than in the past and without quite as much tease. They're also simple, but the cast makes them work extremely well and helps each scene to have a nicely playful start. Riley's scene is the exception here with a darker feel, and although I enjoyed the scene it just didn't fit the series and felt like it was made more for Robby's excellent Hard Candy series. The only other scene that really stood out to me was Tiffany's scene as her vocals seemed a bit forced and gave her scene a more staged feeling compared to the rest of the movie. As for Alicia, Texas, and Katja, I couldn't help but love their scenes. They're pure Teen America, with simple and fun setups and hot sex where everybody looks like they're having the time of their life. Chris really stands out among the male cast here delivering some great lines as well as a big hard cock. Jack's Teen America: Mission 16 lags a little behind some of the other recent installments, but it's still a hot and enjoyable fuck flick.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. If you're a fan of this series or looking for some fun and enjoyable sex, I doubt Jack's Teen America: Mission 16 will disappoint you. The sex is hot and fun, but the technical aspects lack a little due to a lot of shadows. The extras are also a bit weak, but that's nothing too unusual for this series. This is a hot movie that could use just a little more effort towards the overall DVD.

Note to Digital Playground: Once again I think the only thing that really held this one back overall was the lack of extras. I'm not sure whether to love you for the end trailers for the next episode letting you know what great girls we have to look forward to or to hate you for letting us know what great girls we have to wait to see!
