The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced with a few minor problems here and there. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and is much the same way. It's normally clear and well lit, but there are a few blemishes and camera motion that pop up throughout the movie. To Robby D.'s credit, he works all of these blemishes into the movie very well by wrapping the movie around people who, for the most part, are supposed to be playing around with a new video camera that they don't always know quite how to work.

Menus: The main menu blends a still with a few clips from the movie in an artistic manner that gives a good first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each chapter, the chapter number, and the girl's name for her first chapter in each scene.

The Feature

Unlike many POV movies, Jack's POV actually takes the time to give the scene a quick setup with plenty of tease, and that lets a little chemistry build in each scene. Although one is used to Robby D. as “Jack” behind the camera, others seem to have stolen his camera here and have some fun for themselves.

This is a very good scene to close the movie, as I don't think Riley has disappointed me yet with one of her scenes, but it does lack a bit when one considers that this is to be a POV movie.

Jack's POV 14 is a very hot POV release. I'll admit right away that this one might not be for some POV fans, as the guys are never the silent, phantom cock type that some POV fans prefer. Myself, I really like the chemistry and the added depth that the guys playing into the scene from behind the camera gives the scenes, and that works very well from start to finish here with the camera coming off as a new sex toy more often than not. Of course, it doesn't hurt that there's great chemistry in each of the scenes and all of the girls do a great job playing to the camera without going overboard. Alexis Texas' scene fell a little short for me starting out the movie due to only having two positions, and although I really liked the final scene, it also fell a little short due to it dropping the POV style and going for more of a homemade style. My other complaint is that for being part of Digital Playground's “Jack” lineup, Jack never appears in the movie in any way, shape, or form. I can see some people getting tired of Jack, and often get the feeling that Robby D. might be, but then pick a new name for the series if they're going to break away from the connection. Robby can sometimes be a little hit or miss for me as he tries slightly different things, but he's shown himself to be much more than just capable behind the camera with the amount of footage he captures and the quality of what he shoots. All that said, these are very minor complaints and even with its faults I was completely drawn into Jack's POV 14 from start to finish. Jack's POV 14 is one heck of a hot POV release that definitely deserves to be checked out.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. This one's well worth the money. The sex scenes are all darn hot and are captured very well. The technical aspects are weak and generic, but they're always hit or miss with Digital Playground's Jack releases. This is a hot POV release that's definitely worth checking out.

Note to Digital Playground: If you're going to dump the Jack character in the movies, then please dump Jack in the titles for the movies as well.
