Initial Expectations: I've really been enjoying Robby D.'s movies. He has a great cast here and I can't help but look forward to it.

Initial Reaction: It's pretty good, but far from Robby's best work.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I don't think I noticed a single background noise. I did, however, notice a moment or two which were obviously dubbed. The video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen, and looks pretty good. It's free of grain, but there are a few shadows which do intrude on the action.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu nicely works together a little animation and a few stills. The chapter menu is sadly generic and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number. Thankfully the Playground has improved their chapter menus since this DVD was released.

The Feature

Jack's Playground sticks with a simple formula. Jack (Robby D.) is hustling girls who want to get into music videos, and wants to know how bad they want to get in. He mixes in a few little skits with the help of Montel the talking dildo and a few “friends”.

Scene 1 – Taryn Thomas and Marco Banderas

Jack starts out asking Marco if he likes girls before answering the door to find brunette Taryn in an orange top and short jean shorts really wanting to be in the music video. He introduces her to Marco and tells him how she fucked Chris the German dork to try getting into the video before Marco shows her his pipes with a song while she drops down to start mouthing his other pipe. She stands up and turns around for Marco to tongue her holes from behind before he starts fucking her. He starts out giving it to Taryn from behind before letting her up to ride him in both of the cowgirls. Marco also lets her have it missionary style before giving her a nice facial finish.

This is a hot and fun scene. I love the opening jokes about how much of a slut Taryn is before she throws herself at Marco's cock. They have great chemistry between them and put out some very nice energy with Taryn adding some very good vocals. Robby captures it all very well, and the humor and heat team up to make this a very enjoyable scene.

Scene 2 – Jelena Jensen

Smoking hot brunette Jelena starts her scene out topless wearing a candy necklace and licking a large lollipop. She sucks her lolli and moves it around so it can help her show off her fantastic body while giving a little extra teasing as well. Jelena jiggles her great jugs and slaps her sweets around them. She even uses the sucker to pull up her tits before bringing it up to the camera to close the scene.

This is an okay scene. Jelena looks great, and she plays nicely to the camera. That said, there just isn't enough here to keep the scene going for darn near twenty minutes. At half its length this scene might have worked, but it was just too limited for me to go twenty.

Scene 3 – Rita Faltoyano and Scott Nails

After a “work related injury” moment with Paola Rey in an eyepatch taking on Mick Blue, Scott and Jack hang out trying to figure out how to work the TV. They're interrupted by Rita showing up and stripping down to use the pool. Scott quickly strips down to join her to see how cold the water is, and after Rita talks about how her nipples immediately let her know how cold it was Scott points out that his dick is really cold to. She drops down to warm it up with a little soft sucking and stroking before sliding it into her warm womb reverse cowgirl style. Rita turns around for a little sidesaddle and the traditional cowgirl before letting Scott do her doggie style. They also get in a little missionary work before Scott strokes himself onto Rita's tits.

This is a pretty good scene. Rita, as always, looks great, and helps to give the scene a fun start. I was a bit surprised to see that she didn't take on her role as a narcoleptic fuck bunny, but it's still fun. She puts out some nice energy and vocals fucking Scott, and plays nicely to the camera. There's a little something that's missing here, but I just can't put my finger on it. This is a good scene.

Scene 4 – Renee Richards and Chris Charming

Hot brunette Renee lets Jack know that she knows how to play piano before giving a little demonstration on a baby grand wearing as little fabric as possible along with animal print thigh high stockings and clear porno pumps. He lets her know that he thinks she misunderstood about the videos and that he's looking for models instead of performers. Renee lets him know that she's flexible and wonders what he needs before Chris's cock magically starts working its way in and out of her mouth. She lies back for him to fuck her missionary style before getting up to ride him reverse cowgirl style. Renee also lets Chris give it to her doggie style before getting down and stroking him to a nice pop on her face and neck.

This is a pretty hot scene. Yes, the piano opening is a bit of a joke, but the sex is good enough to pretty much make you forget about it. I love Renee's natural and sultry look, and she puts out some very nice energy and chemistry to go with it. She also has great eyes which really smiled after the pop. This is a hot scene that makes me want to see more of Renee.

Scene 5 – Marlena

Cute Latino Marlena starts her scene out sitting on a glass table in a short white skirt and turquoise top. She pulls her clothes out of the way to show off and takes a drink from a glass that's about the same color as her top. Marlena shows off her tits and ass a little more and pours some milk over herself before the scene finally comes to a close.

This is another okay solo scene. Marlena has a great body, and is cute with an easy smile. She does a nice job showing it all off, but once again the scene seems a little drawn out. This isn't a bad scene, but it felt like it could have been a bit tighter.

Scene 6 – Jenaveve Jolie and Scott Nails

As Scott bags on Robbie's choice of a movie as they hang out, Jenaveve arrives at the door looking smoking hot in a red outfit. Scott immediately changes his tune when he learns they're watching one of her favorite movies and that it makes her want to masturbate. She stands up to show off what she's got and lets the guys play with her before dropping down so she can suck Scott's cock. Jenaveve does a good job trying to work it into her throat, and then lies back so he can lick and fuck her. She moves up for a reverse cowgirl ride after letting Scott fuck her missionary style, and then gets up to ride him cowgirl style. Finally, Jenaveve gets down and sucks Scott a bit more until he spews his seed into her mouth.

This is a very fun final scene. Robby really works the tease well with Jenaveve's ass and there's a few nice chuckles with Scott trying to score over the movie. The action moves nicely with plenty of chemistry, and I love Jenaveve's cum handling at the end of the scene. This is a very nice final scene.

Jack's Playground 30 is a pretty good fuck flick. As usual, the style is simple and fun, with the real charm in the movie being porn people looking like they're really having fun fucking. I think Jenaveve and Taryn's scenes were easily my favorites, while Jelena and Marlena's teases were just way too drawn out for me. The movie was also held back by having very few “JackTV” moments between the scenes, which I've come to really look forward to as they're almost always a lot of fun. Paola's accident clip was darn funny, and easily one of my favorite parts of the movie. Jack's Playground 30 is far from bad, but it doesn't have the spark that makes some of the other episodes take off so well.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Rent this one first or aim low. The action isn't bad, but it isn't quite up to my normal expectations for Robby D. The technical aspects are pretty good, but there's no real effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is a pretty good movie on a decent DVD.

Note to Digital Playground: I know this is an older release, and it's nice to see some of the little touches you've done to improve your current DVDs looking back at this one in the not too distant past.
