The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with Digital Playground, the technical aspects show some nice effort. The audio is clear and well balanced, but there are a few very minor background noises. The video, as usual, is presented in anamorphic widescreen. It's nicely clear, but there are a few shadows which do interfere with the action at times.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu nicely works from a little minor animation to some boxcover stills for an okay first impression. The chapter menu is a touch generic letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number, but also lets you choose a scene based on the name of each girl as she starts her scene.

The Feature

Jack's back, and he's trying out a new fetish. This time his focus is on legs. He tones down the music video con, and instead lets some of the guys show off their women and their luscious legs.

Scene 1 – Audrey Bitoni and Marco Banderas

Hot brunette Audrey starts things out in some sexy black and white striped stockings checking herself out in the mirror. This is a pretty good scene. There's some very nice effort put into the tease portion with a great focus on Audrey's legs, which is no surprise as Robby D. has shown himself to be one of the few directors out there who understands the importance of tease. On the other hand, he almost focuses too much on the legs when it comes to the sex. The sex shots seem to focus on the penetration as much as the legs, but the angles rarely give a good look at Audrey's face as she's getting fucked. I love that Robby is trying to pick positions and angles that show off legs for this release, but for me to really get into a scene I want to see that the girl is really enjoying it and the positions here rarely gave me that feeling. This isn't a bad scene, but a few minor changes could have made it much stronger.

Scene 2 – Kapri Styles and Chris Charming

Chris starts the next scene out worshiping good looking black babe Kapri's legs as she stands by him in some sexy strappy black shoes with a black bra and panties and pink mesh dress. He breaks out some baby oil for her legs before sliding off a shoe so he can massage her feet as well as her legs before rubbing her pussy as she lies back on a couch. That said, he seemed to get a bit too tight for my tastes with many of the shots once again and Chris was so quiet that I didn't get too good of a feeling of chemistry from the scene. This isn't a bad scene, but it just didn't do it for me as well as many of Robby's other scenes.

Scene 3 – Alexis Love and Jerry

Once again Robby gets a bit tight with his camera work, and the leg aspect seems a bit lost at times with some of the positions. Jerry manages a very nice pop at the end to help save the scene, but this one didn't get too far above the average level for me.

Scene 4 – Maya Hills and Chris Charming

Hot brunette Maya comes to neighbor Chris's place to get him to move his car wearing a little pink outfit with thigh high white stockings and black sneakers. Once the fucking starts he gets close again, which held the scene back for me a little, but with how much Chris and Maya looked like they were enjoying each other I just can't get down on this scene too much. I really enjoyed this scene even with its limitations.

Scene 5 – Teagan and Scott Nails

Jack's Leg Show is a slightly above average release. There's some definite high points to the movie, such as the chemistry in Maya and Chris's scene and seeing Teagan's ass bouncing around in her scene, but overall Jack's Leg Show just didn't grab me like most of the rest of Robby's work. It's not the leg aspect that held it back, either, as I was really looking forward to watching Robby and his camera ogle them. The problem here was that the movie was just too limited in a couple ways. The first way was the sex itself. I don't mind watching an anal, group, or lesbian-free movie now and then, but here it seemed like most every scene went from leg worship to oral with a footjob mixed in to missionary, doggie, and the cowgirls. I've been so busy lately that I had to take three nights to get through this one (instead of doing it all in one sitting like I normally do) and even spreading it over three nights I was struck by how similar the scenes were to each other. My other problem is that camera work. Robby pays some nice attention to the legs, but he just gets way too close way too often for my tastes here. Rather than going with plenty of distance shots with the occasional close-up mixed in like I normally expect from him, the scenes seemed to be reversed with close-up after close-up of the penetration of either person's face with a few distance shots mixed in. It gives much of the movie a very different feel, and because of it left me just not caring about a lot of the action even when there was some good chemistry. Jack's Leg Show isn't a bad movie, but it isn't anywhere close to Robby D.'s best.

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Rent this one first or aim low here. There's a decent leg focus, but Robby gets way too close way too much for my tastes. The technical aspects are pretty good, but held back by a few shadows. Sadly, there's no real effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is an okay release.

Note to Digital Playground: There's some nice ideas here, so I hope you get things polished up a little more for Jack's Leg Show 2.
