The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I have no clue how Robby D. can be as consistent as he is with the quantity of movies he does. All I do know is that I can't help but look forward to every one of them.

Initial Reaction: It's pretty average, which makes it the weakest release I've seen from Robby D. in a very long time.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who just wants girls with big asses

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting anal or a heavy ass focus throughout the movie

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is well balanced, and although there are a few background noises they don't interfere with the movie. The video is nicely presented in the anamorphic format, and for most of the movie is very nicely lit. There's just a touch of grain at times, but the final scene has some things in the background which appear like they're being blurred out that throws it at times.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu works from a little animation to a still with a little action in the background. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number, and also nicely adds in the name of each girl for her first chapter.

The Feature

Robby D. keeps the vignette feel for his fourth installment in the Big Ass Show series. There's almost always the “Jack feel” to the scenes, but the music video theme rarely rears its head. Throughout the movie, he keeps a focus on ass, and makes sure to try to catch as much of it as possible.

Scene 1 – Candy Manson and Trent Soluri

Jack's ready to go get the steak Trent owes him, but although Trent looks ready to go he refuses to get up to go out. Trent's hesitation become a little clearer when big titted bottle blonde Candy walks in wearing a light green bra and panties. She isn't happy that she hasn't heard from Jack on the music video he was supposed to get her into, and he learns that Trent's playing the music video scam as well. Jack plays into it, and soon after Candy's showing off her body including a fine great big ass and a set of big tits. This is a pretty hot scene. There's plenty for me to not really dig about Candy with her black fingernails, plenty of tattoos, implants, and peroxide hair, but she does do a nice job. She gets into the cocksucking nicely and seems to do okay with the fucking as well. Robby does a nice job trying to focus on Candy's ass throughout the scene, and most of the positions they use work well to show her ass. There's a little something missing here, and I can't place what it is, but this is still a pretty hot scene.

Scene 2 – Gianna and Evan Stone

Smoking hot busty blonde Gianna starts her scene out in a little blue and white sleeveless top and shorts showing off for Jack on a bed making sure that he gets plenty of tits as well as plenty of ass. He follows her ass as she struts down the hallway and into a room where Evan's sitting back on a couch with his shirt open to give him a show as well. Evan has her bend over so he can admire her ass and how her tits hang before Jack brings him some baby oil for her ass. This is a pretty hot scene. Once again Robby maintains a very nice focus on ass, and Gianna has plenty of it to show. She and Evan seem to be into it very well, and put out some very nice energy with a touch of intensity. With Gianna having as great a chest as she does an ass, I was glad to see Robby paying attention to the full packaged, but he definitely kept a focus on the ass. This is another hot scene.

Scene 3 – Kapri Styles and Jerry

When Jack and Jerry stop by Kapri's, she isn't so sure that the door was open like they tell her. She warms up to them a bit when Jack mentions music videos, and after they chat inside she strips down to show off a great black ass as well as a nice natural rack. She puts some nice effort into sloppily sucking Jerry's cock when she asks what else she has to do to get into the video, and is rewarded with a quick fast forward pussy lick before Jerry fucks her reverse cowgirl style. I'm not sure this scene even gets up to the average level. Kapri is cute and has a nice ass, but this time around Robby just didn't seem to capture it that well. He went with more general, full body angles rather than ones that focused on the ass a little more, and Robby and Kapri didn't use many positions that are really good for showing off the ass. The low lighting also doesn't help this scene, and ends up holding it back fairly often. This scene is easily the weakest in the movie.

Scene 4 – Cassandra Cruz and Scott Nails

While Scott and Jack are driving around, they find a lost Cassandra in a tight light green dress looking for some white cock. They bring her inside where Scott relaxes for a moment before worshiping her shapely ass. She takes a great facial finish and puts out some decent energy. The problem is that the scene only lasts fourteen minutes, and that includes the setup! This scene had some good potential, but feels like it ended before it could reach it.

Scene 5 – Naomi and Trent Soluri

Jack starts things out admiring Naomi's tits under her white top and her ass in her short denim skirts while talking about how thankful he is for her coming over to be a birthday present for Trent. He's more than a little surprised, but isn't going to insult Jack by turning down his gift. He lets Naomi suck his cock a bit before fucking her missionary and doggie style. This is an above average scene. As always, Naomi has a fantastic ass, but once again there were several positions that just didn't work to show it off. Just as surprising was the lack of anal in the scene, as Naomi hasn't been one to shy away from it, but the oral action was quite nice. There were also a few things around the room that appeared to be blurred out, which gave some of the scene an odd feel that threw it for me. Once again, although this wasn't a bad scene, it also didn't seem to be up to the level I normally expect from either Robby D. or Naomi.

Jack's Big Ass Show 4 is an above average movie. Sadly, that means that this is a fair disappointment. Robby D. has put out some very consistent work this year and a lot of it. It's rare that a week goes by without a movie that Robby directed, or at the very least did the camera work for. Here it seems like that workload has taken a toll on him. He's selected some girls with nice big asses, but the focus varies on them throughout the movie. It starts out quite strong with Robby seeming like he's trying to keep each girl's ass in the shot at all times, but then drops off as the movie goes on. There's a lot of spooning, which doesn't let you see much for ass, as well as missionary, which is very hit or miss. There's also a fair amount of reverse cowgirl, which can work pretty good for anal, but there's no anal in the movie. I know this is going to disappoint a lot of ass fans, and I'll admit that I was one of them here. I can handle an ass fetish movie being done without anal sex, but it takes just the right touch with the camera work and editing, along with some great teasing. Here those things just didn't come together for me, and every scene left me wanting. I think Candy or Gianna probably had the best scene here, with the others just making it past the average mark. Jack's Big Ass Show 4 isn't a bad movie, but it's far from the level I've come to expect from Robby D.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. Rent this one first. It's not bad, but it is far from Robby's best work. The technical aspects are nicely done, but sadly there's no real effort put into the extras. This is an okay release.

Note to Digital Playground: I guess everybody stumbles sometimes...
