The Movie

It's a Gangbang Fu! is an all sex gangbang movie featuring female Asian performers from Tarantino XXX. It's a Gangbang Fu! is a completely amateurish production that looks more like some college students, without any idea of how to make a movie, got their hands on a camera and made an adult movie in their dorm room. Unfortunately, the amateurish aspect of the production works to the detriment of the movie.

The movie consists of three scenes, the main scene with Meiko Askara and several males including Tarantino XXX, Chris Cock, and Tony Martinez called “Lil Ms Gangbang,” and two shorter scenes. “Tattooed Asian Creampie Gangbang,” with Eden Alexander, and “Asian Reverse Gangbang,” with Fook Yu, Fook Mi, Natsuko, Haruko, and Tarantino XXX.

The movie opens with very obvious fake Chinese titles, with English stuck in as if to emulate Hong Kong films modified for the English market. The idea probably seemed like a cute concept, however, since the Chinese lettering is so poorly faked, the cute concept breaks down and just comes across as stupid. In addition, since the movie is all sex and not a plotted feature, the concept immediately disappears after the credits.

This isn't the end of the emulations that It's a Gangbang Fu! tries to make. Despite being shot digitally, the movie has been digitally altered to appear kind of as if it had been shot on film. Exactly why this was even done is a mystery to me since absolutely no one is every going to contemplate whether this mess was shot on film. In addition, the effect is poorly done. What appears to be handwritten editing marks appear throughout the presentation of the movie over the image. I've never seen a cinematic film print that still contained the editing marks still on it. As to what this was supposed to resemble for the viewer, I am not entirely sure. There is also fake film damage and fake dirt that appears over the image. Honestly, all this does is annoy the viewer.

The technical aspects of the movie are abysmal, to be gracious. During the movie, cell phones ring, the cameraman can be heard moving, the action is stopped to take stills, while the footage is kept in the movie, equipment gets caught in shots, direction is kept within the movie, people enter the hotel room and have conversations, the camera man has conversations with cast members, the cast hits the camera, there is even one point where someone asks if they are recording. Not one bit of this ruined footage has been edited out from the final movie either. To add to the insult, the movie is poorly shot. Proper framing doesn't really appear to have entered into the shooting process. The second scene in the movie has incredibly poor sound, which appears to originate with how the scene was shot.

The sex scenes have their issues as well, for instance, a failure in attempting to do a double penetration is kept in the “Lil Ms Gangbang” sequence. Depending on how you feel about choking, there is footage of Meiko Askara being held by the neck and mouth during her scene. The “Tattooed Asian Creampie Gangbang” sequence begins with what looks like an attempt to copy John “Buttman” Stagliano but falls way short of his monumental work. The third scene appears to have been run through a filter to give it a really soft look that really just ruins the scene since it looks like a multigenerational videotape dub.

Unfortunately, there is nothing here to recommend to anyone. Between the major technical problems and the purposely added “digital issues” It's a Gangbang Fu! can be painful to watch. What is presented here comes across as something shot by college students with no idea of what they are doing and a lack of proper equipment to put their material together properly.

The Edition

The edition of It's a Gangbang Fu! reviewed is the streaming version available from TarantinoXXX.com. The version reviewed is the final cut version according to Tarantino XXX, which contains different scenes than the other streaming versions that are available on HotMovies and Adult DVD Empire. The first scene is the same in both versions. The original edition of It's a Gangbang Fu!, which had a run time of 74 minutes, had a second scene with Mena Li and Tarantino XXX and a third scene with Bella-Nikole Black and Chris Cock. Neither of those scenes are present in the final cut version, which has two new scenes in their place.

It's a Gangbang Fu! is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and is available on TarantinoXXX.com in 720p, 480p, and 240p. The movie appears to have been shot on digital equipment and then digitally altered to appear like it is an old film. Some of the footage has a very soft murky look. Some have fake handwritten editing marks and text that appears over the image along with fake print damage. However, since this was all intentional, it can't be considered to be a defect in the video. There is a yellow box-shaped bug in the bottom right corner of the screen with Tarantino XXX and the logo throughout the entire movie.

It's a Gangbang Fu! is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track. The dialog spoken in the movie can be heard and understood throughout the presentation. Outside of issues while shooting and editing the movie, there doesn't appear to be any problems with the audio track.

TarantinoXXX.com hasn't included any extras for the release. It would have been nice if the two cut scenes that had been in the original version were included as extras to go along with the movie if the viewer decided to want to watch them.

Final Thoughts

It's a Gangbang Fu! is an amateurish adult movie where the technical deficiencies within the movie render the movie damn near useless. In addition, purposeful digital alteration of the movie will frustrate any viewer that can get past the major issues with the movie. Due to all of the issues that the movie presents, I can't recommend this title for anyone. Tarantino XXX hasn't included any extras for the release.
