Cast: Pietro Cattani, Victor Racek, Glauco, Favio Rossini, Marco Ramazzotti, Daniele Della Valle, Daniele Barbareschi, Tony Colombo, Michelangelo Risi, Roberto Ruggiero, Raul Veneziani Story: There’s no story here. Just 4 unrelated vignettes shot on location in Italy. Scene One - The Palace Whoa, this has the makings for a great scene. My favorite older salt and pepper haired hunk from Italian Style (Peitro Cattani) teams up with the delicious Victor Racek (Victor is actual Czech, not Italian, though.) But what’s this? Before the scene even starts up, we switch to Victor lying in bed with some other Italian hunk. Victor wakes up his lover with some soft nipple kisses, and a sensual blowjob. All of a sudden, we switch back to the other scene with Peitro. Looks like we’re going to be going back and forth between these two scenes for a while. It’s a little distracting, but, hey! We get twice as much of Victor’s hairy little ass! And what a gorgeous ass he has, too! Especially with another Italian’s tongue shoved up there! Before long, it’s time for the ass-packing, and Victor tops the older man, but bottoms for his lover. I’m not sure which position I prefer him in, but it sure is nice to see a hunky guy like that so darn versatile! Victor has 3 cumshots in this scene, 2 of which are downright mouthwatering! Strangely, neither of the other 2 guys cum. Scene Two - The Pool It would be hard to match the intensity of the first scene, and the second scene doesn’t even come close. Three guys jump out of a pool and immediately start sucking each other off. I don’t usually find longer haired guys attractive, and Roberto is no exception. He seems to be constantly sucking in his stomach, has somewhat saggy pecs, and can’t get a full erection, no matter how long one of his friends suck on him. The oral goes on for way too long, and the action is just plain slow. After a couple cumshots, we finally switch to some fucking, but it’s pretty pedestrian by anyone’s standards. A forth guy joins in to try to liven things up, but by now, it’s far too late to keep me interested. Near the end of the scene, they start switching positions a little more… if they would have done that a little sooner, that would have helped immensely. There’s at least 10 minutes of filler that should have been cut from these scene. The only redeeming factors in this scene are a few truly awesome cumshots. Scene Three - The Country So now I’m wondering… Was that first scene just a fluke? Is the rest of Italian Style going to be more dreck like scene 2? Or did Lucas Kazan simply have a bad day when he filmed “The Pool” scene. Scene 3 starts out promising, with the two ultra hunks on the cover of the DVD (Marco Rmazzotti and Daniele Della Valle). These two studs really seem into each other, and spend a lot of time kissing passionately and having cock “sword fights”. Marco fucks Daniele in a few different positions, and they really work up a sweat under the hot, Italian sun. These guys are even able to time their cumshots at the same time! Scene Four - The City Italian Stallion Glauco has a problem. He can’t walk though the city streets while continuously groping himself without some horny stud following him home. Tough life, eh? Holy Moly, once these guys get alone, they jump on each other like there’s no tomorrow. They’re downright frantic to get it on. I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw Glauco riding on Flavio’s dick. I thought for sure he would top in this scene. He sure is a voracious bottom, though. And his thick prick stays rock hard while he’s bouncing up and down on Falvio. After Glauco blows his load, they flip flop, and Flavio gets to have his ass filled with Italian sausage. It slows down a bit in the middle, but for the most part, this scene smokes. Audio/Visual Quality Italian Style is beautifully shot. The picture quality is crystal clear, the colors are all extremely vibrant, and the music is a very pleasant selection of classical pieces. Extras There isn’t a whole lot in the way of extras. They included a slideshow with the director’s commentary. I usually would have preferred a commentary throughout the entire film, but Lucas is so dang monotone, that it would have literally put me to sleep. One thing interesting to note: Lucas mentions that Kristen Bjorn (who produced Italian Style) insisted that everyone in the film either fucked or got fucked. There were to be no solo or all-oral scenes included. BUT… somehow, there is a short solo scene interspliced with scene 3. Maybe Kristen didn’t notice? Final Word Man, these Italians sure know how to kiss! None of that “fake” California or Eastern Euro tongue wagging either. These guys bury their tongues deep into each other’s mouths with a fervor I haven’t seen since Titan’s Heat. Chalk another one up for Lucas Kazan. Italian Style is right up there with Hotel Italia as some of the most beautifully shot porn I’ve ever seen. If only that second scene didn’t stink so bad, this could have easily been a 5 star flick.
