Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very good. It has a washed look that works very well for the dark subject of the movie, and shows some very good attention to the lighting as well.

The Movie: Katsuni is not in the best of situations. She's in a loveless marriage that she wants out of but doesn't seen an escape. As she bides her time she plays games with those around her hoping to find a way out while also taking multiple lovers.

I'll readily admit that I was ready to completely pan this one when I saw the running time, but it quickly drew me in and never let me go. If there's a complaint here it's not the short running time, although that could be considered part of it, but it's that the story never seems to be completely resolved. At the same time, Is He There? has such an art-house feel to it that the lack of resolution actually fits the movie and doesn't really hold it back much. The web around Katsuni and her situation isn't always that clear, but there's enough there that's done well enough that it makes the movie interesting and actually stimulated me a little above the shoulders as well as providing plenty of stimulation for below. Katsuni delivers well in the movie with two hot scenes, and is nicely joined by Tori Black and Jenna Presley. Mason Moore also does a good job, but her excessive tattoos and overall fake look just didn't do much for me. Is He There? obviously won't be for everybody due to its short running time and heavily artistic feel, but it worked very well for me and I can't help but recommend it for anybody wanting something a bit artistic and out of the norm for adult entertainment.

The Extras: Trailers are included for eight other Digital Playground releases. The photo gallery can be viewed either one still at a time or as a slide show lasting about two and a half minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette and contact information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten minutes. After a quick intro from Brah Bones, Jenna shows off and makes sure things and shows that she's not just freaky about sex. Katsuni gives a little eye candy next and has some fun with the script before working with Robby. Mason gets her chance to show off and chat with Jamall before Jenna returns for a shaving demo and to show off a little more. Tori finishes things off with a little education lesson, a quick show, and some fun before things come to a close with a little eye candy of Katsuni cleaning up. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette. You get plenty of eye candy as well as plenty of fun. This is a very nice addition to the DVD.

Final Thoughts: I really liked this one, but due to its short running time and very different style, it's worth renting first (or aiming low) and then spending a few extra bucks later if you want to pick up more with repeat viewings.
