I'm always looking at lists of titles to see what I want to review next. Clever titles (Black Thai Affair). Dumb titles (Pink Taco). Goofy-strange titles (She-male Samba Mania). Then there's the straightforward, no-nonsense "Real Girls, Real Orgasms." Abby Winters always takes a different path.

You see that again in this, the 17th installment in their "Intimate Moments" series of (mostly) solo female masturbation. Real girls: there are 12 this time peppered among 9 scenes (three scenes have two girls each); they're the typical Abby Winters girls: they look like amateurs: no makeup, no silicone, no exotic hair-dos, no elaborate tramp-stamps or body piercings. They're real-world pretty--the kind of girls you meet at the local bar and look good on the first beer.

Real orgasms: they look real to me. None of this screaming so loud that the neighborhood dogs start barking as soon as they touch their own thighs. This is, in fact, pretty quiet. A few of the girls are more audible, but most are pretty quiet.

What I admire most about this DVD, and Abby Winters titles in general, is the variety. Most masturbation movies look like the girls follow a script. In this one there's a mix of styles; some girls penetrate, some just seem to tap their clits. Some are quiet and do very little; some are energetic and all over the place. One girl uses a toy, the rest use fingers. Some play with their boobs, some leave htem alone. Some girls are stacked; some are not. Most of the girls don't say anything, but one pair is chatty (I don't know why, but I find it fun to watch two girls stroking their pussies as they chat about whatever).

There's a nice mix in the scenes as well, and some departures from what's become the AW formula. Six of the scenes are solos, three have two-girl pairings. One of the two-girl pairings is full-contact lesbian (Angie and Fotina)--the other two scenes are just side-by-side masturbation. One scene (Tash) has two cameras: one aimed straight on in the normal manner, a second close-up pussy cam below. I haven't seen that before in an Intimate Moments scene.

Special Features:Nothing except ads for other AW titles. But at two full hours, I don't feel like I'm missing anything; plus the Angie & Fotina scene is a good example of what you'd get in their girl-girl videos anyway. Anyone else would have simply made that their "bonus" scene.

Production values: Up to the Abby Winters standard: clean, colorful video and good sound, without annoying music. The DVD is well put together and easy to navigate.

Final verdict: Arguably the best of the Intimate Moments series I've seen, even though I think they're all very good. It's a great combination of realistic masturbation, pretty girls, and well-executed production. If you like real female masturbation, this is as good as it gets.
