Intimate Moments: Intimate Orgasms Review

I love AbbyWinters stuff. I look forward to each new DVD the way my friends waited for new episodes of The Sopranos. I was luke-warm on the last release (Girls Go Hardcore) but I'm back to full throttle with their latest, "Intimate Orgasms."

AW releases two series of DVDs, a girl-girl series (usually with the title "Girls" something) and a masturbation series called "Intimate Moments." Lately they've been blurring these by releasing "Intimate Moments Shared" where two girls masturbate side-by-side. This one, "Intimate Orgasms," takes it another step. This time there's a mix of scenes--some have girls going solo, some are paired up. But whereas the earlier tandems had the girls stick to masturbation and (mostly) kept their hands to themselves, this one offers a lot more interaction.

If you're already familiar with AbbyWinters, you know what to expect because this is cut from the same fine cloth. If you're new to the world of AW, you're in for a treat.

AW specializes in "amateur," fresh and natural girls doing what comes naturally. They're all young and fit and attractive, but they don't look like they spend most of their time in a gym, bleaching their hair, or seeing how much silicone they can support. In this (as with the other Intimate Moments DVDs) the girls are left alone with a camera and bring themselves off as they normally would. The result are a wide variety of techniques, backgrounds, and very convincing orgasms.

That's the good and the bad of it, depending on your point of view. If you like dirty, nasty, filthy whore cum sluts who show you everything and stop every minute to pose, who moan and carry on the second their panties come off, you'll hate this. But if you're sick of or jaded by badly faked passion, stroke-magazine poses, and adolescent fantasy-fulfilment, then this stuff is fresh, new and a joy.

It begins with an apperance by Susie (one of the videographers), who sadly doesn't get naked herself but makes a nice introduction of what the DVD is about and plugs the website. Then it's Sue-Ann by herself, a cute blond in a sun-dress who diddles herself in a kitchen chair, followed by Jilly & Gabrielle, two brunettes, the latter with glasses (who proves that girls make passes at girls who wear glasses). They break the formula by doing each other simulatenously, accompanied by caressing, kissing, a little nipple sucking (at last!)
and a lot of pillow talk. The part where Jilly tentatively strokes Gabby's clit (after being

shown where it is) as Gabrielle idly plays with Jilly's hair is one of the most sweetly erotic things I've seen anywhere.

Belinda F by her lonesome on a sofa, a beautiful brunette who masturbates with her hand under her lace panties (I've always loved that).

Hayley and Emma R, two brunettes in a futon, who do themselves side-by-side.

Belinda F and Shelly B, two more brunettes who do themselves side-by-side, but Shelly breaks out a vibrator. They chart an in-between path of contact and interaction between the other two girl-girl scenes.

Paula, a beautiful blond and the bustiest of the group, does herself on an easy chair.

and finally Jilly again, this time by herself on a bed with a rabbit vibrator. A hell of an encore and finale for this DVD.

No "extras" but six trailers for other AbbyWinters stuff.

All of these are filmed in beautiful color, with good sound and no annoying music soundtrack.

So that's what it is. Here's what it isn't and caveat emptor: if you like big tits, Paula's the only one who qualifies and she's not exactly Christy Canyon's league. The girls are real-world attractive, not glitzy/glossy Michael Ninn or Playboy achingly (but coldly) beautiful. The camera is static because it's planted and left unattended while the girls get it on. They don't hold it or talk to it as they do in the "I Shoot Myself" films. And the girls are encouraged to do it the way they normally do, not to "perform for the camera." So if they settle into a pose that you don't like, changes are they won't shift for you to get a better view. No close-ups of things disappearing, no toys glistening with lube (natural nor applied), no "wait, let me play like your cat and stick my ass in your face" poses.

But those are all plus signs in my book. This is a DVD that'll be kept close-by for a long time to come.
