Worlds collide when a troubled, insomniac bartender (Aiden Ashley), who's having flashbacks and difficulties with reality, encounters an underground pimp (Joanna Angel) one evening while walking the streets. Of course, trouble is certain to follow in the twists and turns of this newfound relationship, and everything isn't quite as it seems. So goes Insomniac, an exceptional, 2019 release from director Joanna Angel and her similarly named company, Burning Angel. Captured in a raw, dark, and gritty style and coupled with an exquisite soundtrack and phenomenal acting, this release is one of the better--and more original--features of the past year. Moreover, its plot is engrossing and not overtly predictable, as Ashley struggles with her demons, with Angel, and strikes up a healthier relationship with everyone's favorite leading man, Small Hands. Captivating and hotter than fuck, this flick is definitely worth a look. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!
In terms of highlights, the two fierce, boy/girl/girl threesomes involving the spicy Carmen Caliente, the petite and tatted Lola Fae, and Steve Holmes in a sex club, as well as the twisted Aiden Ashley, Joanna Angel, Small Hands fuck-out at Ashley's home, both bring the heavy heat. Each in its own way offers up an assortment of sticky, entangled flesh...and facials! Also off-the-charts is the grand finale between Small Hands and Aiden, again. This one is as intense and frantic as its beginning is romantic, and Ashley manages to contort herself into all manner of nigh-impossible positions...all whilst fucking. Wild! Not to be outdone, Aiden's brief, fishnet-clad opening masturbatory sequence and Tommy Pistol's prostitute pound-out with the dark and sultry Katrina Jade in his office are certainly steamy, as well...all leading up to this devious and shocking mind-fuck's crazy and bloody conclusion. Holy shit!
