Initial Comments: This is the Special Edition Director's Cut 2 DVD set. I haven't seen anything by Marie Madison and was curious to see what she and Kami Andrews did with this first feature.

Music: The music for this is by The Gypsy Poets and is used to support the movie. Their style of alternative rock is quite different from the usual porno rag and has a folk ballad feel. There is actually intelligence behind it's execution and video synchronization with the music.

Video Quality: For most of the movie the quality is good, though not stellar. There are some extreme glare problems in a few places along with some dark and shadows in others.

Review:
The camera pans across Marie as the opening theme plays. She's lying back on her bed wearing panties and a bra, talking on the phone.

Scene 1: Kami Andrews, Mark Audess and Marie Madison
Kami is sitting in the living room talking to Marie on the phone as Mark goes down on her. He's fully clothed so it's only his mouth and fingers that see any action. She drifts away from the phone conversation and concentrates on Mark's oral skills, dropping the phone. Overall: The story line is a natural as far as working into the sex scenes. There is a lot more sensitivity and care that went into the making of this than a lot of the rest of the stuff out there. However, this has all the trappings of the shame and guilt of porno valley smut. The plot is thick enough to hold it together, but the characters are fairly transparent and one-dimensional. But hey, it's porn. Scene 5 was the best for me.

Personal Notes: Marie Madison posted on the Feature Forum of ADT that this may be a good couples choice. Her plug got removed as advertising. I'm curious as to which couples she was referring to. If she meant the expressive, uninhibited, bi-female audience along with the stoic, inhibited, straight male audience she may have got it right. For the rest of us, I'm not so sure. Like most features aimed at the couples market, this doesn't come close to showing a balanced view of sexuality, at least not in my bedroom. Any and all representations of female sexuality are acceptable, but the representation of male sexuality is so restrictive as to reduce the performer to a mere prop, his dick being the only source of sexual empowerment or pleasure, and only in the presence of a female. As far as this feature goes, it looks to me like they played it safe by modeling this after the rest of the stuff out there. This formula assumes that the female viewer is able to empathize with the female performer, and the male viewer is only interested in looking at the female performer. From the looks of the trailers, Marie is targeting the straight male market.
