Indirect Relations is a plot-based feature length adult movie that, despite the run time, is more of a short film than a feature film. The beginning of the movie has narration from the character of Amy Rogers (Kristen Scott), who gives the history leading up to the movie. Randy Rogers (Derrick Pierce) is on the vice squad and a bad cop, who is sick and twisted. His wife left him taking with her their daughter Amy, amidst rumors that the marriage ended due to Randy having inappropriate conduct with Amy. This backstory brings us to where the movie starts out, with Randy, now estranged from Amy, planning a birthday surprise for her on her 18^th birthday.

The plot is more than an afterthought in Indirect Relations. The plot goes for the first 20 minutes of the movie before the first sex scene in the movie starts. From that point on, the movie is close to a wall-to-wall sex movie, however, the sex scenes stay within the story that has been set-up. This brings us to the only real major disappointment within Indirect Relations. There is a lot of the story that is just told to the viewer during the opening narration. Instead of making what was more of a short film than a full feature film, Bree Mills and Craven Moorehead should have just gone for it and made Indirect Relations into a full feature film showing the viewer instead of just telling them. There was more than enough material in the narration to justify a feature film and the story is interesting enough, it could have sustained a feature film.

The cast also does such a great job with their characters, it was a shame to see them in such a short piece. Each member of the cast does a great job of bringing their character to life, which was extremely necessary for this movie since the movie is a taboo family relations theme movie. Movies such as this don't work if the viewer isn't brought into the characters they are watching on the screen. The sex scene, which is an extended sex scene, is well done as well. The cast stays in character during the sex scene, which was extremely important for making the sex scene actually work — since the sex scene depends on the belief in the characters.

The non-sexual portions of the movie are well done with nicely picked locations and good sets and the movie is nicely shot. Especially the sex scene that has some unique camera work that really adds to the scene, especially the taboo nature of it. For viewers that like plot-based features with a taboo family theme, Indirect Relations is a great movie and well worth checking out.

Pretty Dirty has done a great job with their streaming and download version of Indirect Relations. Indirect Relations was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 1080p. There are no noticeable issues with the video quality. The colors in the film look wonderful and there aren't any blemishes. There is a PrettyDirty.com bug in the lower right hand corner of the screen during the entire movie.

Indirect Relations is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The only issue with the audio track is a persistent hiss throughout the presentation. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Pretty Dirty hasn't included any extras for this release.

Indirect Relations is a well-done feature length adult movie that is more of a short film than a feature film. The story and the acting in the movie are great, however, viewers that like feature movies will be disappointed that Pretty Dirty didn't have more faith in Indirect Relations and didn't make it into a full fledged feature movie. Indirect Relations is still well worth checking out. Pretty Dirty has done a good job with their streaming and download version of Indirect Relations with excellent image quality and a good audio presentation.
