Initial Expectations: Despite Kobiata and Trunks’ reviews, I’m looking forward to this DVD.

Initial Reaction: Although it has a couple minor flaws, it’s very well done and has great style and hot sex.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for some hot artistic sex with a lesbian, lingerie, oral, and anal emphasis

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a lot of plot or very tame sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and well balanced. The video is very good, but does have a few minor problems. The lighting is a little inconsistent, with some parts appearing a little on the dark side. The camera also makes its way into the field of view a couple times, which never impresses me.

Music: The music has a little harder edge than normal, but does fit many of the scenes. It’s frequently the only audio, and when not, it’s a little on the loud side.

Menus: The main menu is nicely done with just enough animation to give the DVD a little classier feel. The chapter menu lists each scene by a scene number and a small clip of the scene. It’s a standard way of showing the chapters, but I really wish Wicked would list at least the female performer in each scene.

The Feature: As he has done so many times before, Brad Armstrong has given another vignette style feature. Each scene is completely unrelated to the others, but are held together by the theme of having some very nice lingerie (as well as hot women) in each scene.

Devinn Lane starts things out with a classy solo scene that takes place around some antique style bars. She’s done up in some formal clothes and pearl jewelry and starts out working herself over with her fingers. She moves on to work over both her pussy and ass with an acrylic dildo while giving the camera plenty of great looks. It’s a very good scene that really shows Brad Armstrong’s visual skills. The camera angles are great and always changing. Unlike many directors, who can make changing angles seem cut up and almost give you motion sickness, Armstrong’s only make you feel like you’re getting the complete story in close up bites rather than one long distance shot.

Devinn Lane returns for the next scene, this time joining Tina Cheri, who I’ve rarely seen look as good as she does here, and Devin Wolf. Not surprisingly, Wicked put a little extra effort into the DVD here and made each bio fit the overall theme to the DVD. Trailers are included for The Kissing Game, Flashpoint, Hell on Heels, and Sex Safari. There’s also the standard Wicked extras of a company profile, web links, a commercial for the free speech coalition, the Wicked Casino and a listing of Wicked’s AVN nominations and award winning DVDs.

Two photo galleries are included. The main photo gallery lasts a little over three minutes and takes about five seconds per photo. The behind the scenes gallery also lasts about three minutes with five seconds per nice looking photo. The photos blend together full screen shots with snapshots, and all look very nice.

Leading lady Devinn Lane teams up with Brad Armstrong to give a full length audio commentary. As usual they have great chemistry together, but there’s a little more dead air here than normal. They talk about fun things such as locations and the sets, cops visiting the set, dick size, and of course, sex and big fat titties.

Finally, there’s All Access: The Making of In Style, which lasts about seventeen minutes. As usual, the cast is nicely identified as they take the screen, and they all talk nicely for the camera. You also get to see director Brad Armstrong giving the cast some direction for each scene. It’s a very nice behind the scenes featurette that gives a great feel for the talent.

Note to Wicked: Very nice job here. The behind the scenes feature was one of the best I’ve seen from you and gave a great feel for the cast. In the future it might be nice to include a few different chapters for the behind the scenes features, especially when it’s as nicely organized by the scenes as this.
