I Love You is the second movie in Pornhub's Visionaries Director's Club series — the first movie in the series was The Gift by Young M.A last April. Pornhub's Visionaries Director's Club series invites guest celebrity directors to “diversify porn production.”

From the opening of I Love You when stars pour out of Asa Akira's bejeweled butt hole, the viewer recognizes that I Love You is not your standard porno. I Love You is the design of director and writer Brooke Candy, a rapper, and art director Claire Barrow, a visual artist. Brooke Candy has said she was influenced by Gerard Damiano's 1972 Deep Throat and Alejandro Jodorowsky's 1973 The Holy Mountain.

This reviewer would describe I Love You as what Peter Greenaway might produce if he made hardcore movies. I Love You is a visual and audio experience that the viewer needs to sit back and enjoy as the images and sound flow. Watching I Love You, itself, is like traveling through a living dream.

The movie itself is broken into three acts. The first act, which stars Abella Danger and Kira Noir, starts with the opening of a box reminiscent of Pandora's Box, which feels apropos for how I Love You ends up playing out. Each of the acts, each of which contains a sex scene, is of a different genre. Act I is an all-girl sex scene.

The second act, which stars Jesse Prather and Remy Cruze, continues the journey through I Love You with a gay scene, which brings us to why the opening of a box reminiscent of Pandora's Box seems so appropriate here. There was a time when you would never find an all-male scene following an all-girl scene. I Love You shows a shift in the times, which brings us to the third act.

The third act, which stars Venus Lux and Chanel Santini, is the final stop in the journey with a transgender scene. The third scene does come across as a statement since the scene takes place in a stylized bathroom, of sorts. Together all three of the scenes blend beautifully.

I Love You is a blend of art and porn, and a genuinely unique gender-bending movie. The artistry in the set design and the movie is exceptional. I Love You is beautifully photographed by Kenny Sule, and the real beauty of the human form is fully on display throughout I Love You. If you are looking for an all sex experience that defies all rules, I Love You is the movie for you.

The edition of I Love You screened is the streaming and download edition of the extended director's cut exclusively available on Pornhub. Pornhub has done an excellent job with their streaming and download edition of I Love You. I Love You was shot on mixed media, digital and videotape. I Love You is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 2160p — commonly referred to as 4K. The image quality is beautiful. Since the movie is a composite from a couple of media formats, the video quality isn't consistent; however, the image quality represents that which the filmmakers intended. The colors in the movie are bright and vibrant.

I Love You is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The sound is beautiful. I Love You is mostly music, with a little dialog. The music reproduction is excellent, and the limited dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand. As a stylistic choice, some of the dialog has burned in subtitles; however, not all of the dialog has subtitles.

In addition to the 52-minute extended director's cut, Pornhub also has the 40-minute standard edition of the movie. Pornhub hasn't included any other extras for I Love You.

I Love You is a beautiful experience that seems appropriate for today's day and age presenting three sex scenes for the viewer, one all-girl scene, one gay scene, and one transgender scene. I Love You was directed by Brooke Candy with art direction by Claire Barrow, and is the second in Pornhub's Visionaries Director's Club series of movies. First and foremost, I Love You is an erotic art movie, don't go into this movie expecting cheap masturbation fodder. I Love You is well worth watching. Pornhub has done an excellent job with their exclusive streaming and download edition of I Love You.
