I Finally Got It Review

NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very good for an amateur movie. There’s a little background noise, which mostly seems to be music from another room, but the action is easy to hear. The video is a bit different since it’s shot entirely in night vision. This means that the picture is all green and white and a bit grainy. It gives the movie a different feel that works for some and turns others off.

Music: None

Watermark Warning: There’s a small and tasteful watermark in the lower right corner of the screen. It stays there the entire time so that it’s easy to phase out, but I know that some people hate watermarks to the point that they won’t pick up a DVD because of them. Pixie’s Emporium seems to be constantly trying to improve their DVDs, and I think they might be doing away with some of the watermarks. If you’re interested in this title, it would probably be worth your time to drop and e-mail to their top of the line customer service to check with them.

Menus: The menu is nicely done. It includes a clip of the movie and has a fun and friendly feel that gave me a very good first impression (especially for an amateur movie).

The Feature

I Finally Got It! Haley Goes Anal is an amateur movie with a slightly different feel. It’s shot entirely in night vision with a fixed camera.

Scene 1 - Haley and her man

Haley and her man start out naked in bed and softly kissing each other. She climbs up to ride him cowgirl style, and they roll around a little so that the camera can capture it from a couple different angles. They play with her ass a little while fucking before finally moving into the anal cowgirl. They also work in a bit of doggie for each of Haley’s holes and a little missionary where you can’t quite tell where it’s going. Finally, Haley jerks her man onto her stomach when he pulls out of her.

I Finally Got It! Haley Goes Anal is a pretty hot amateur feature. Haley and her man have the chemistry one hopes for in an amateur release, and also put some nice energy in as well. As usual with this type of feature, the camera angles are quite limited, but in a fun twist it looks like Haley is the one that was pushing for them to tape themselves rather than the guy. She gets up to adjust the camera a few times to make sure it’s getting them the best possible way, and looks like the idea of capturing their fun on video is as enjoyable to her as the fucking itself. I like how they don’t jump right to the anal to make it look completely easy, and also like that they take it nice and easy with it. There’s some long pauses in the middle where there isn’t a lot of motion, and things have to gradually pick up to where they were before. I love this because anal sex is often showed in a fairly unrealistic way in porn. This doesn’t seem completely realistic from my experiences with it, but I do know of others who have taken to it like Haley does here. I Finally Got It! Haley Goes Anal is a nicely done amatuer anal movie that’s worth checking out if you want something with a voyeuristic and realistic fun feel.

The Extra Stuff

In addition to the usual commercial for Pixie’s Emporium and a trailer for the movie, there’s a photo gallery lasting about a minute and a half with roughly three seconds per okay full screen photo.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many DVDs from Pixie’s Emporium can be found online for around $13. If you want amateur anal with a voyeuristic feel, this one should be well worth the money. The sex is obviously real, the technical aspects are pretty good, and there isn’t much for extras. This is a nice amateur release.

Note to Pixie’s Emporium: It’s great to see you trying to improve your overall DVDs with little things like the menus, photo galleries, and trailers. Keep up the great work!
