in suffering such flaws? Far from it. Maybe people expect more of
Pierre Woodman, perhaps that is all they expect. In fact, this collection
has some merit too, not least in the customary cast of beautiful
girls but also in sex that sporadically breaks free of Woodman's
habitual one-note style. Such highlights are a touch too rare for
Hustler XXX 26 to be recommended viewing, but at least they alleviate
the monotony. For too much of the time it seems that all the parts
are in place but the heart just isn't in it.
DVD
Comments
The DVD package can't escape criticism, with a paltry selection
of extras including a small photo gallery and the same interview
short Hustler have been peddling for years. Can't they make a new
one? What, can't get hold of Pierre? Curiouser and curiouser. That
might explain why this disc, released in around about September
of this year (2004), has a production date of 09/03/03. The picture
quality is not brilliant either - it has an overly contrasty, and
harsh look that makes colour look cheap and occasionally makes some
skin tones look quite bizarre. Sound is as good as it needs to be.
