The technical aspects are above average. The audio is okay, with a level that seems to vary a bit much along with a balance that sometimes seems a bit off along with a few background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks good. There's a steady hand on the camera with nice care towards the lighting, a clear picture, and even a little black and white footage mixed in to give the movie a slightly more artistic feeling at times.
The Movie:

The setups aren't bad, with India and Bridgette turning out the best ones, but at the same time they can get a bit long and there's a very generic feeling to the movie. The setups are to the point that if there were another two scenes here I'd expect Lex to be delivering a pizza with extra sausage in one and coming to snake the pool drain in the other. It's also limited din variety as the action is all one-on-one with no anal to spice things up. Add in camera work that at times seems a bit uninspired and this one just barely manages to make it past the “above average” mark into “good” territory due to the chemistry between Lex and the ladies. That leaves The Housewives of Lex Steele a very solid rental that's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Lex Steele or any of the ladies in the movie.

Trailers are included for three other DreamZone parodies. The photo gallery lasts a little under eight minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, cumshot recaps, a cast listing by scene, and commercials.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty six minutes. You get a bit of Lexington working with Bridgette and the cameraman for what he wants before he chats with Chanel about herself in a very nice interview. They chat about her background, her time in the industry, and all of the nominations she's received as well as some of her sexual likes. Chanel also poses for stills before he chats with India about some of her fetish work and sets up his scene with her and Alexander DeVoe behind the camera. There's also a bit of Lex working with Jada to set up her scene and shooting some of his footage. This is a nice behind the scenes featurette. I'd definitely like a little more footage of the girls showing off or interviews like Lex had with Chanel, as it showed a lot of personality from both of them and was very nicely done. At the same time this featurette definitely shows that this is Lex's baby, which is nice to see with how some performers step “behind the camera” only to let somebody else run the show. This is a very decent behind the scenes featurette that adds nicely to the overall DVD.
