The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Naughty America's ”1 on 1” movies have been pretty good and they've been slowly putting a little more effort into their DVDs. I'm looking forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: Despite some very poor video quality, it's a nicely light and fun POV release.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are a bit hit or miss. The audio is pretty well done. It's clear and free of background noises, but the level did change a bit from scene to scene and I found myself adjusting the volume several times. The video is presented in the full frame format, and much more problematic. The lighting is pretty even, but does have a few bright spots which are quite noticeable. Even more noticeable is the pixelation, which ranges from just enough to be noticed in the opening scene to downright horrible in the final scene with the action almost taking a flip-book appearance.

Disc Complaints: The authoring is a bit funky, which doesn't seem to be anything too unusual with Naughty America. Rather than having the entire movie on a title that makes it easy for viewers to skip to where ever they choose in the movie, which is extremely nice if you get tired of a scene and just want to jump ahead randomly or if you're viewing the movie later and want to go to a specific point in the movie, each scene has its own title, similar to how some studios run their TV shows on DVD. Needless to say, this makes the DVD extremely hard to navigate. Thankfully, it sounds like Naughty America is going to be improving their DVDs soon so this will hopefully be a thing of the past.

Menus: The main menu works through a little animation and few clips from the movie for a very good first impression that's a lot of fun and is a nice change from the standard main menu Naughty America has been using. The chapter menu is pretty good, and lets you choose a scene based on a still of each scene with the name(s) of the girl(s) in the scene.

The Feature

Housewife 1 on 1 keeps a fairly simple setup. Each scene is shot in the POV style and starts out with the wife wanting a little talk. Maybe you're the hubby or maybe you're the man who can satisfy her in ways that her husband can't. Regardless, there's going to be a little tease before getting to the action.

Scene 1 – Nikki Benz, Sativa Rose, and a guy

Sativa, in a nice little black dress, starts out the movie sucking a cock while commenting on how “you” didn't tell her how big it was. Scene 2 – Jennifer Dark and a guy

Housewife 1 on 1 8 is a nicely light and fun POV movie. There's so many POV movies out there that it's often hard to tell them apart, but Naughty America nicely breaks free from the crowd by giving each and every scene a little setup. Sometimes they're worth a few laughs and sometimes they're serious easy to relate to such as needing a little release after not being able to go at it while out on the town. Each of the girls do a very nice job playing to the camera without going overboard, but I think Sativa and Nikki's opening scene was my favorite due to the great chemistry between them and how well they urged each other on. Jennifer Dark probably had the weakest scene to me sinking down to the average mark, while Claire Dames turned out a great performance and had it severely held back by some really horrible video quality. Throughout it all, Naughty America kept the action very couples friendly without making the mistake that so many other companies do by taming the action down to the point that the stars feel like they're being held back. If you're wanting a fun attitude in a POV movie without all the nastiness, Housewife 1 on 1 8 may be just the movie for you.

Currently, most of Naughty America’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $27 with most stores offering them under $20. At the low end this one's worth the money. The action is hot and fun, but the technical aspects are a bit weak and hold back some of the scenes. There's also no real effort put into the extras which also holds back the overall DVD a little. This is a very enjoyable POV movie on a DVD that needs some work all around.

Note to Naughty America: Please do something about your video quality, as the last scene is pretty unacceptable as part of the main movie. If there's problems there that can't be corrected, scenes with that kind of video quality would work well as a bonus scene with a note about “we're sorry something went wrong, but we thought this scene was too hot to not share”.
