Initial Expectations: Adam & Eve has been pretty hit or miss with their compilations, so I’m not quite sure what to expect.

Audio /Video Quality: As with most compilations, the audio and video qualities vary quite a bit. Thankfully, since most of the scenes here are from fairly recent releases, both are pretty good. The audio is normally nicely balanced and clear. The video has a few minor problems, such as a little much pixelation in some scenes, but none of the scenes look any worse than I remember them looking in their original features.

Music: As usual with compilations, the music varies in both style and balance from scene to scene.

Menus: The main menu is very simple and barely even has any animation. The chapter menu is very nicely done and gives you a small clip of each scene as well as naming the feature it comes from and the stars in it.

The Feature: After putting together some dang good compilations, such as the Ass Angels series, and some complete duds, like the horrendous Girl Power, Adam & Eve is turning their attention to all girl action with The Hottest Pink. Before each scene starts you’re told who the girls in the scene are, and then it moves quickly right to the action.

Things start out with a scene from Infinite Bliss. Coral Sands, a hot brunette, starts things off while Carli is still asking Taylor St. Clair questions, but it doesn’t take Carli, trying out for a position as a human pawn shop, to join in. Taylor watches them throughout the scene and plays with herself a little, but not much. It’s a very hot scene which Coral really stands out in.

Next up, Angelique and Darian Caine play with each other and a glass dildo as Valerie Taylor watches from above them in a scene from Dada House. Valerie never fully joins in, but gets close enough for a good look and occasionally spanking them or handing them a new toy. Anybody who’s watched any amount of porn knows that these two things seem to have the most technical problems in scenes. Combining them seemed like certain doom for a scene. Instead, it was a very well done, very erotic scene. The shadows really added a lot to the scene and a lot of lighting was provided indirectly. The scene takes place on a patio above a pool and most of the light was reflected off the pool. It’s not too couples friendly, but it’s erotic enough that many women might find themselves enjoying it more than the typical lesbian scene.

Taylor St. Clair returns for another scene, this time hooking up with Syren in a scene from Hardwood. Taylor takes the immediate lead, first kissing Syren on the mouth, then undoing her top to kiss her nipples, and finally working her way down under to lick and finger Syren’s snatch. Shanna McCullough and Timber get busy on a bed next in a scene from The Other Woman, which is not to be confused with The Otter Woman which is about a Jane Goodall wannabe. The Hottest Pink is a nicely done compilation. There’s a good range of styles to the scenes, which is really important when they’re all basically revolving around the same sexual act. Due to the variety of scenes, I’m pretty sure most fans of all girl action will be happy with it. Some of the scenes I didn’t think were that good, but others might find them just what they like. I’m also impressed that the performers names are shown before each scene, which is something I’m surprised more studios haven’t figured out. With the names there (and the names of the feature in the chapter menu), you can track down the original movie if you’re really impressed by the scene you see here. To me, this is really doing the job right. Yes, it takes a little extra time, but you also stand a good chance of selling a few more DVDs because of it. The Hottest Pink is a nicely done compilation that’s worth checking out if you’re a fan of all girl action.

Overall: Currently The Hottest Pink can be found online for between $13 and $24 with most stores offering it for under $15. At this price I have a hard time not recommending it. There isn’t much for extras, which isn’t too big of a deal since it runs over three hours, and the transfer leaves quite a bit to be desired at times. The sex scenes are normally above average and show a nice variety, and the overall feature shows some nice extra care.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s nice to see you putting the extra care into your compilations rather than just slopping the scenes together and keeping them at an affordable price.
