Some things in porn are so obvious
that you wonder why they haven't been done before. Case in point is Clive
McLean's Hot Showers series, a combination of young women, girl-girl sex,
and water. Sure, it's been done before, but this is the first series I'm
aware of that makes wet & wild barely legal lezzies its theme. And,
boy, does it work as catalyst for testosterone--there's just something about a
couple of glistening girls getting it on that does it for men!
Hot Showers 2 opens up with what I think is the best scene of the video, "Open Wide When Wet" with blondes Kylie Wild & Natasha. Kissing, breast sucking, rubbing, and tribadism are all mind-blowing eye candy served up in a small outdoor pool. The next best scene is another pool threesome with Monique, Gabriella, and Ember. It's not the most convincing (unconvincing orgasms and lipstick lesbianism) or well-photographed (you can see the light intensity changing as the grip couldn't hold the reflector still) scene, but I can forgive all of that because it does feature three pretty girls playing with each other in a pool. And for those of you who like the whole peeing thing, two of the girls piss in the pool in typical Clive McLean fashion: with great spectacle and inane dialogue. I was less impressed with the other scenes since they tended to be too long and fairly boring visually. This was the case with the Rita Faltoyano/Sandra Shine outdoor shower scene and the "day into night" shoot with Jenna Haze and Cassandra. I was surprised I didn't like the Jenna Haze sequence, but I think she's much better at boy-girl than girl-girl; there's just no chemistry there. Finally, "Slippery When Wet" with Penelope and Susanne started out great with a voyeuristic, soapy shower opening, but the actual sex was high, dry, and somewhat dull. Hustler includes a bonus girl-girl shower scene (Sunrise Adams and Jesse) as an extra on the DVD, but it feels really out of place because it's shot on a soundstage and looks like it's a scene ripped from one of Clive's Barely Legal vids (who knows, maybe it is). Overall, the eye candy and the back-to-basics sex are what makes this a great little video. Almost all of the girls have small, natural breasts, and while there are tattoos and piercings, there aren't as many as I see in a lot of videos these days. Clive also made sure to capture a lot of kissing, wet & glistening bodies, and other visual treats. Plus, the photography is bright and vivid, even during the night scenes. And the sex is simple yet effective. The sex is not that nasty, and there's not a single dildo, vibe, or toy to be found, but the girls make up for that with a lot of tongue and finger action. This volume has convinced me to pick up other volumes in this growing series. If you're into some visually simulating girl-girl sex with a strong wet & wild theme, you can do no wrong by going to your pornographic retailer of choice and picking up Hot Showers 2.
