Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are nicely done, which is nothing unusual with Ivan behind the camera. The audio is clear and nicely balanced, but there are a couple minor background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's well lit and clear with a solid hand on the camera and eye behind it.

Hot Box Lovers 4 is a good lesbian release that suffers from a short run time. Alix and Jenna start things out with a great scene. Both ladies are plenty easy on the eyes and have great chemistry with each other. What really takes it above and beyond here is the humor, both with Steve the Bear and Santa Pimp Jenna. It's both fun and funny, and really made their scene stand out. There's also a nice touch of humor in Penny and Kendra's scene, and they both play up the lost sponge quite well. They have nice chemistry together and a good pace to help make this another enjoyable scene. Penny's scene with Sarah is even better, and gets right to the action with the girls worshiping each other and working back and forth. The toy action kicks the scene up nicely and seems like a natural progression rather than a crutch for the scene with very nice chemistry through it all. Finally there's Tara and Sasha, who might turn out my favorite scene in the movie. It's a really tough call between their scene and Alix and Jenna's opening scene, largely due to this one getting right to the action instead of having the very fun opening. The chemistry between the girls here is easily the strongest in the movie, and although it is a bit of a back and forth scene, the girls are so into each other that it completely drives the scene. The only problem with their scene is that it feels like there could have been a lot more to happen between these ladies that we don't get to see here. Regardless, this scene alone is worth the rental price and is a must see scene if you're a fan of either of these ladies. Overall, Hot Box Lovers 4 is a good lesbian release. Penny's scenes, which were the big draw for me here, are both well above average, but just can't keep up with how strong Alix and Jenna start the movie or how Tara and Sasha end it. The big thing that holds this one back is that its running time is just over an hour, and for the price point this one's at you can get a lot more lesbian action from other studios that's at least at the same level at the same price point. Hot Box Lovers 4 is a good lesbian release, but it just can't make it past the rental mark.

It's a good rental that's held back largely due to its short running time.
