Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are on the weak side, which isn't anything unusual with amateur porn or Homegrown's releases. The audio is decently balanced, but frequently has background noises with a frequent hiss or buzz. The video is presented in the full frame format and varies quite a bit through the movie. Some areas are clear with good camera work while others darn near look like they're shot under water. Kalyn and Sophie's scenes are both good, but definitely suffer due to the lousy video quality. The forced deep throat thing with Sophie just doesn't do a lot for me and Kalyn rarely looked to be into the anal much either. The style of the movie was also a bit of a miss for me. There's a fair amount of POV footage here and you never see the guy's face, but I also don't expect to see man ass in a POV movie. There's quite a bit of footage shot from the side and a tripod, and that just isn't POV footage to me. The other thing that missed for me is that I learned this was a compilation when I was almost done with the movie (and this review, hence it getting a full review rather than my usual shorter compilation review). I'm never impressed when a company tries to sneak out compilations making them look like fresh releases, and it always takes a release down for me. Homegrown POV is a decent compilation of Homegrown scenes, but it falls a bit short due to poor video quality, a lot of non-POV footage, and being a compilation when it doesn't market itself as one.
