Review:
When “Hollywod Whore! The Infamous Kacey Jordan”—from SunLust and Vivid—arrived at my doorstep recently, I figured that this would be a great release. I mean, how couldn’t it be, right? Kacey Jordan typically is a solid and attractive performer, and she has also been a part of the madness that has been fodder for a recent celebrity-focused media circus. How could it go wrong? Well...after a scene that’s a repeat from a prior release (despite the box cover promise of “5 Exclusive New Scenes”) and another one that is absolutely intolerable in terms of production values, it was pretty clear that it didn’t all go “right”. That’s not to say that it was all “wrong”, but it certainly is what one could characterize as a “spotty” release, to say the least. In retrospect, I suppose that this makes sense, as this production’s very advertising and title clearly show that there is no doubt that this movie is an attempt to capitalize on the notoriety of the whole celebrity affair. Editorializing aside, however, let’s take a look at the disc’s contents.
In terms of the sex, Kacey is featured in every scene—this is a definite plus—and she typically puts forth strong performances. In Scene One, she has a boy-girl romp in a cabin while wearing a cowboy hat. While this is an excellent sequence, it is also a repeat from “Teen Confessions” (Scene Six). SunLust has an unfortunate habit of doing this. Scene Two brings Kacey together with Charley Chase in a dungeon setting. Both of the ladies eat each other out in this excellent segment, and both Charley and Kacey herself use a glass-like dildo on Kacey. The highlights in this one have to be the pussy-eating and dildoing that Charley does on Kacey while she’s strapped to a rack—dark and sexy—hot stuff! In Scene Three, we find an unmitigated disaster. This one is a POV-blowjob segment with what appears to be Evan Stone. While it does end in a facial and some oral cock clean-off for / by Ms. Jordan, the production values are so bad—shaky camerawork in some spots and extreme over-exposure all the way throughout—that it’s impossible to enjoy it.
Scene Four finds Kacey matched up with Marcus London. Taking place predominantly on a large, brown table, this sequence just doesn’t ever really bring the heat—even though it ends in a pop-shot to Kacey’s face and mouth, followed up by some oral cock clean-off. Overall, let’s call it “good”. In Scene Five, Kacey and Tommy Gunn “Christen” their new home by boffing in the kitchen. This segment is excellent and quite hot. The pair makes good use of the countertop, and the finale involves Kacey taking Tommy’s load on her chest and providing some oral cock clean-off. At least it ends on a high note.
In terms of other items, this release clocks in right around an hour-and-a-half, which isn’t a bad thing. There are some resolution issues here and there, but nothing that I observed was too horrible to worry about. It’s also pretty clear that this production is a hodge-podge of stock material…and the results vary accordingly. Finally, I couldn’t get the Main Menu to work on my Sony blu-ray player, so I had to wait until the end of the movie to see the BTS…and I never did get to sample the “Photo Gallery”.
As for bonus materials and other options there’s a fairly serious dearth. There’s a “Behind the Scenes” segment that’s okay but on the short side. The only way that I could access this was by waiting until the end of the movie due to the aforementioned Main Menu problems. Supposedly, there’s a “Photo Gallery”, too…but, as noted in the prior paragraph, I couldn’t access it – same with the “Scene Selection” option. That’s about it.
Overall, this production is a clear attempt to cash-in on Kacey Jordan’s recent interviews regarding her time with said notable celebrity. While this isn’t necessarily a problem—this is porn, after all—the resultant mix of scenes feels very slapped-together. Further, the fact that one is a repeater isn’t good, neither is the fact that one of them is essentially unwatchable. While it does have its good moments, I’d definitely rent it first to see if they’re worth the downside.
