High Desert Review

“High Desert” is a gorgeous and beautiful film to look at with some of the hottest models in the biz but it’s not without its shortcomings. You know how the music score can affect a movie? Well unfortunately, believe it or not, the music in this, although good, drags down the film more than it should. It’s too bad because the photography, landscapes, and action are exquisite but it just doesn’t have the “punch” it desires. And the last scene featuring Austin Masters as a “trailer trash” stud with a tattooed girlfriend (Betty Grub?) totally doesn’t flow with the rest of the picture. That aside this is a striking production!

It opens with Dean Phoenix and Jack Ryan who playfully and sensually enjoy each others company amidst their campsite in the desert. As they take turns caressing and sucking each other the “new agey” soundtrack plays with no dialogue whatsoever. Dean tops Jack and its all done in a somewhat artsy fashion. They are both hot but I really just felt the music dulled it down. Neither do much in the line of a great cum shot but that’s ok, they’re nice to watch.

The same goes with the next scene that features Marc Anthony, Jeremy Tucker and blonde beauty Troy Michaels having a three-way in the back of a truck, Marc with his “Vanilla Ice” hair is a good performer and knows how to put his cock to good use. Troy does too as he works ther others off, sucking both of them, licking their cocks and deep throating them. They all take a turn sucking and we do get some occasional “live” audio of them which is better. Jeremy fucks Troy as Marc shoves his big rod in his mouth. Finally, and I don’t know how this fit into the picture but we see Nick Young stumble upon a trailer whereby Austin Masters storms out, grabs Nick and forces him to suck his cock. All the rest of the scenes were independent, nicely filmed, erotic and then this partial story was thrown in? It was kind of odd. Also, while the rest of the cast were mainly young and smooth, Austin is more of a hairy, daddy type and it as a bit forceful. Anyway, Nick has no problem taking that cock down his throat and sucks away on it. Nick sits on Austin and takes his cock for a ride all the while seeming to enjoy it. He shoots a great load too! He leaves and then Austins girlfriend, Betty Grub shows up and wants to know what he was doing all day then drags him off to the mall with a pie? See what I mean?

Overall a very good film that is beautifully photographed and has some great performances. But like I said, the music brings it down a bit and that last scene was just plain weird. I hope in the future the director, Nancy Nathan, yes a girl, has some input into the overall production. She’s one to watch in the field as this is gorgeous and so are the guys!
