INTRODUCTION:
Hellcats #2 is Joey Silvera's follow up to his solid Hellcats #1.  Typically, Joey has collected a very tantalizing cast that includes an old favorite Julie Night, and a couple of new favorites, Lauren Phoenix and Katja Kassin.  Throw in a couple of typical box cover cuties that I haven't seen before (including Kitty, Amber Rain and Cameron James) along with Joey's typical brand of high energy quirk-ality and you've got the solid building blocks of ... well... a typical Joey Silvera release.  And those who know me, know that my expectations for Joey's work, typically, run pretty darn high...

SCENE 1:
CAMERON JAMES, LAUREN PHOENIX & SEAN MICHAELS
The Girls
Mmmmm... Lauren Phoenix.  Lauren Phoenix is, in my estimation is a rare breed indeed.  I have it on pretty good authority (a face to face conversation with Joey himself) that Lauren is the real deal.  She loves men, and she loves sex, and I don't necessarily need anyone in the know to tell me that.  Lauren is quite simply beautiful to watch.  She has an amazing balance of strength and submission packaged in a 5'-10" KILLER body with fantastic tits, beautiful long legs, and gorgeous blonde hair--not to mention a smile that'll make you melt.  Very few women have burst onto the porn scene and impressed me so thoroughly with only one scene.  Lauren did that with her work in Service Animals #15.  This is not to discount Cameron James, however.  I haven't had the pleasure of watching her perform yet, but her image on the box cover is enough to spark my interest.  She's another great looking blonde with a fabulous body.

The Gist
As I said, Lauren is fucking beautiful to watch for the hard-edged loving perverts like myself.  This scene shows her off to a tee.  That's pretty much all I have to say.  Cameron does a fair job, don't get me wrong, but her presence is both literally and figuratively dwarfed by Lauren's positively overpowering and charismatic presence.  I couldn't take my eyes off of her.  The lady gives me chills, and makes me thank my lucky stars that that delightfully maddening mystery of "woman" will never be solved.  Although the scene itself isn't one of Joey's best, one thing is for certain: this gorgeous, tall, tight bodied, bright smiling, submissive, womanly tower of strength named Lauren Phoenix is anything but typical.  Have I overstated it?  You decide for yourself.  Meanwhile, Lauren, thanks for the shivers... again.

SCENE 2:
KITTY & KRIS SLATER
The Girl
Kitty looks to be a disturbing 12 years old, with pre-A cup tits and a super cute face.  I admit it though, the young looking ones turn me on, and Kitty is no exception.  Joey dresses her up to play the part here, in some short short jeans and a super cute pink tank top. Some people would find the bratty little girl angle too much for them I imagine, but I can't help but like it.  As long as I know at the end of the day that she's really a consenting post 18 year old--all is well.

Lucy is a pretty Cambodian lady wearing a neon pink fishnet top, a black vinyl skirt and a beautiful pair of white fishnet stockings.  She talks about her last encounter with Joey where she made him her bitch--a scene I wouldn't mind watching.  She's quite attractive, although I suppose not quite my type.  While I admit that the mere site of her doesn't send me into the throws of "must fuck her now" passion as much as say, Lauren Phoenix does, she definitely has the potential to change my mind.

The Gist
Lucy has indeed made me a believer, as it were.  She was beautiful, and the most striking thing about the scene was that it was her first anal.  Joey wasn't afraid to show the obvious pain on her face during for the first part of her penetration.  Trent was very gentle with her, however, and what could have turned out very badly turned into something pretty cool to watch.  Watching a girl go through the pain and strife of her first anal on camera is not necessarily something I'm interested in seeing on a regular basis, but this was a pretty cool scene.  Besides that Lucy's legs looked fucking AWESOME in her white fishnet leggings during the action.  The other aspect of the scene that got my attention was the light bondage while deep-throating segment, which I'm always up for seeing in a Joey movie.  He handles these situations extremely well, and that is certainly a fetish that I can never get enough of.  All in all, a solid scene with a pretty girl.

SCENE 4:
JULIE NIGHT, KATJA KASSIN & BRANDON IRON
The Girls
Julie Night is an old favorite of mine from many past movies--most notably from Mason's work, but certainly not limited to that.  Not only is she a super sweet lady to talk to face to face, but she's also an almost frighteningly intense sexual performer who outright demands your attention whether you like what you're seeing or not.  Speaking of super sweet, Katja Kassin is a full figured beauty of a German girl who I first saw in New Girls #3, and subsequently met face to face in Vegas this last January.  She won me over with a mysterious charm about her, and a gorgeous body that I couldn't get enough of.  Both girls look outstanding here--Katja especially, dressed in a chain mail-esque top and sheer stockings.  Julie is dressed in a short mini-skirt and a purposefully cute tank top.

The Girls
Amber is a super cute blonde with beautiful breasts and a fucking great smile.  In short, she's my kinda girl, and that's putting it mildly.  Delilah is a 5'11" blonde of somewhat larger stature, but that's not to say she's disagreeable to look at by any means.  Both girls are very pretty, although I do admit to prefer Amber on looks alone, but I have yet to see either of them in action, where these preliminary evaluations are always subject to change.

This is a strong scene, and I have a real soft spot for the beautiful Amber, which admittedly probably carried me through it a little better than the same scene without her would have.  It's nicely shot, with some beautiful girls, and Joey's signature "whatever works" flow of action.  The highlights for me included some really nice anal eye-candy with Amber (although as good as she looked, I didn't feel a lot of authentic heat), and a great wet-face facial complete with a lingering camera to wrap up the scene.  Beyond that, I think I probably liked the scene more than I should have, but I suppose you can't fault me for that.

PRODUCTION QUALITY:
Incredibly average Joey fair:  Great picture, fantastic camera work, beautifully made up girls, and high energy, off beat action.

DVD QUALITY:
Remarkably normal Evil Angel fair:  Nice authoring, clear video, solid extras.

EXTRAS:
Excellently standard Silvera extras: fetish menu, filmographies, cast list by scene, photo gallery, and about 30 minutes of extra sex footage.  Highlights include a little deep throat, Lauren style; a little throat fucking, Kitty style; a little cocksucking bondage , Lucy style; a little scary submission, Julie style; and finally a little sword swallowing, Delilah style.  There's more, and all of it is worth a look.

OVERALL:
There's something rare in today's porn about a disc with 5 solid scenes.  There's something unusual about a disc with 8 truly gorgeous women who not only look good, but perform in an atmosphere of genuine smiles amid refreshing sexual intensity.  There's something maddeningly extraordinary about a disc with pornographic camera work that at once demonstrates remarkable discipline and child like spontaneity.  Finally, there's something outright unique about the mysterious charisma and mind blowing beauty of those scarce gems of the female persuasion such as Lauren Phoenix.  Mix all those amazing ingredients together, and what you end up with is a product that most other gonzo porn directors strive for, and that many Joey Silvera fans simply take for granted:  Outstanding porn that is, happily, nothing less than... typical.
