NOTE: This is an amateur video. Amateur and homemade movies don’t have the budget nor the resources of studio porn, and therefore rarely get close to the same quality technically. I’m rating this DVD on the same scale, but most homemade or amateur features would rarely make it above a 3 on the standard scale I use for studio porn for their technical aspects. The performers also aren’t normally the ‘glamour stars’ one expects from studio porn, and instead use people who look like somebody you might encounter in your day to day life. Finally, the camera work has a different feel, as it’s often shot from a tripod or with somebody who doesn’t have the technical training or experience of professional cameramen. That said, amateur and homemade features have a great charm to them, simple because the people in them are doing what they’re doing to have fun and because they enjoy it. All the things that separate them from studio porn contribute to that charm, I hope people will keep that in mind when checking out this review and not just look at the ratings as the ultimate word on this release. Since the technical aspects are normally lacking and there normally isn’t much for extras in amateur features, I’ve weighted my overall rating more heavily towards the sex than I do in most studio porn.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty normal for an amateur feature. The audio is pretty clear, but occasionally has a balance problem and you can frequently hear quite a few background noises. The video is also pretty standard. The action is nicely lit, but the colors vary a bit throughout the movie. There are a few remnants which pop up occasionally throughout the feature. The clarity also varies a bit. Much of it is very clear, but there are a few moments which have some noticeable pixelation and a bit of what looks to be digital corruption.

Menus: The menus are simple but fun. There’s no animation on either the main menu nor the chapter menu, but they both have a fun feel that gave a good first impression.

The Feature

Heather’s a cute dishwater blonde with a great natural rack and all around nice body. This feature collects two scenes from her. The first is a blowjob scene, while the second is a full service scene.

Scene 1 - Heather and Guy #1

Heather’s tanktop is pulled up to show off her great natural tits to start off this scene. She doesn’t waste much time before she gets busy sucking her man’s cock. She works her mouth and tongue around his twig and berries, and often looks off to the side or at the camera rather than at her partner. Finally she takes a very minor pop from her partner on and in her mouth.

This is a slightly below average scene. The biggest problem comes when things break for the action. You see Heather ask to stop, and she doesn’t really show any enjoyment at all. It looks like it’s work for her rather than fun, and I’m not sure that I saw any part of her body smile while she sucked away. This was her first scene, so I hope Heather was just that nervous that her enthusiasm didn’t come across, but it just didn’t work for me.

Scene 2 - Heather and Guy #2

Heather decides that she should help her bodybuilding friend with his workout rather than play on the computer. She flexes her arms and feels his muscles before letting him help her out of her tanktop as they play before she grinds against his package while he plays with her pussy. This scene comes off much better for Heather. She appears shy and nervous rather than unhappy, and a playful spirit comes across pretty well also. You can tell that she’s attracted to her partner. Although they really want to get it on with each other, they look like they’re not quite sure how to do it with the camera there at first. This is a pretty long scene, running nearly forty minutes, and although it goes on a long time, the longer it runs the better it gets. By the time Heather and her man get to about the second position it looks like they’ve pretty much forgotten about the cameras and are just out for a good fuck. This really brings up the scene, and helps it end up as a nicely done scene that makes the scene and feature worthwhile.

The Heather Combo-Pack is a bit of a bipolar feature. Heather’s cute, and I can see a ton of people checking it out just for her extremely cute look. If this girl is over eighteen, I’ll be greatly surprised, and her attitude shows it almost as much as her look. The oral scene didn’t do anything for me, mostly because Heather didn’t look like she was into it. The full sex scene, however, was very nice. It was long, but the length played to its advantage because it let the sex progress naturally without feeling rushed or like Heather and her partner were following any kind of script. Their emotions came across well in the scene, and it helped this scene pull the movie out of the hole the first scene dug and got it up to an average level for the sex. Heather’s look and innocent style isn’t quite my thing, but I’m sure that there’s a ton of people out there who are looking for sex with people just like her. The Bottom Line:

Currently, many DVDs from Pixie’s Emporium can be found online for around $13. Unless you really like very young looking girls, I’d probably pass on this one. The second scene is good, but the first one didn’t do anything for me. The technical aspects leave a bit to be desired, and there isn’t much for extras.

Note to Pixies Emporium: I think two things would really help you out. First, your boxcovers don’t set a good first impression. I was scared when I first saw them, and was tempted to pass them by at first. Second, the consistency of your video quality will probably chase off a few more people. I think I’ve heard of as many people being chased off by the technical aspects as I have the sex not being to their liking. Being an amateur studio you have a little leeway here, but I still think that the better you can make your product look, the more people you’ll get to come back.
