Synopsis:
For the first installment of this new series, Red Light District went up to the great white north to find new talent for this gonzo series.

Audio/Video:
The available audio track is an English 2.0 Stereo track, which works well for the material being presented here. The dialog can be clearly heard at all times during the presentation. Red Light District hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for this disc.

Hardcore Training 1 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which is the original aspect ratio for this film. The picture quality is excellent sporting a crystal clear picture with no artifacts or blemishes present. The color levels are appropriately set which all adds up to an excellent viewing experience.

Special Features:
There are a few extras on the disc and, for the most part, they all relate to the feature film. There is a behind the scenes piece that consists of a cut portion of a scene and some clowning around. This feature is rather short. The boner footage consists of two POV blow job shots, one by Gabriella Moore and the other by Kristina Young. The photo gallery consists of 18 stills each on their own track which the player switches automatically for you. There are also roughly 20 trailers included on the disc.

DVD-ROM Special Features:
Although containing no true DVD-ROM extras, Hardcore Training 1 is an InterActual PC Friendly enhanced title.

Navigation:
There are five chapters available from the main menu for Hardcore Training 1. They are identified by a video clip and the name of the female talent. There is one chapter available for each scene from the chapter menu. Red Light District has also included an in-scene menu that allows you to go to “oral,” “sex,” “anal,” and “cumshot” for their occurrence in each scene. This system isn't perfect as sometimes selecting it will take you to the next scene. There is also no option to remove this menu, which I don't care for. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
For this film, the crew from Red Light District has gone up to Montreal Canada to find some new fresh females. The set-up to each scene is the same. In a nondescript hotel room the female attempts to allure the male before going into the full-blown sex scene. As for the title, Hardcore Training 1, don't expect anything harder than what Red Light District has been putting out since this film appears to be on the same level.

As for the female cast, you have a variable potluck in the film. Some of the females, Gabriella Moore for instance, are excellent, bringing some great energy and enthusiasm to their scenes. Others, like the cover model Kristina Young will leave you asking ‘eh, why you hosers! Most of the females fall into the median of these two groups. Unfortunately, while watching I got the impression that Katarina was less than interested in some of the acts that detracted from the scene. Nothing can ruin a scene more than someone who looks like they are there only for the money and not to also enjoy themselves.

The sex scenes themselves are long and not too formulaic. As previously stated, most of the females bring some great energy to their scenes and seem to be enjoying themselves. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with female masturbation, A2M, pussy fingering, anal masturbation, anal fingering, DP, anilingus, and brief choking. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

The Scenes:
The first scene brings us Caprice with Brandon Iron and Brian Pumper and starts out with some female masturbation and anal masturbation before the males become involved. After their arrival the scene gives us some blow job and pussy eating with some anilingus thrown in before they get into the vaginal and anal sex. The scene ends with a DP. The second scene brings us Kristina Young with Brian Pumper and Brett Rockman and starts out with some pussy eating and anilingus before the blow job. Then the scene goes into a vaginal sex and blow job combo.

The third scene gives us Gabriella Moore with Mr. Pete and Brandon Iron and starts out with a blow job before going into a vaginal sex and blow job combo. The combo then switches the vaginal sex for anal sex before the DP finale. The fourth scene brings us Katarina, Bianka Juice, Brian Pumper, and Brett Rockman and starts out with some pussy eating before the blow job. The scene finishes with vaginal sex only.

The fifth and final scene brings us Jade with Mr. Pete and Brett Rockman and starts out with a pussy eating/blow job combo before it heads into a straight blow job. There is a vaginal sex/blow job combo before the combo switches the vaginal for anal sex. The scene goes into anal sex only before returning to the latter combo and gives us a DP for the finale.

Parting Thoughts:
Although this isn't the best film to come from Red Light District, it is far from being the worst. Viewers that like nastier sex without a plot may want to check this title out but might want to consider giving it a rental before purchasing unless you can find it on a decent sale. The fresh talent is nice to see but the second, fourth and fifth scenes are less than par.
