Halloween Cums: A XXX Parody is the debut feature film from writer and director Mystery Moji. There are some issues with the movie, however, the amount that Mystery Moji did right, combined with this being an independent debut feature film, more than make up for the problems in the movie.

The story for Halloween Cums is back in 2004, Michael Myers (Tay Moji) has sex with a babysitter (Lena Starr). After, he stalked her and ended up in a mental ward. It is rumored that his dick can entice any woman into sex. Now, in 2019, he has escaped from the psychiatric ward on Halloween night. Now loose in the night, Michael is out to fuck his unsuspecting victims.

The plot is fun. Obviously, Halloween Cums is a porno take off on John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic Halloween. And Halloween Cums doesn't take itself too seriously. The majority of the film isn't played for chills, although Mystery Moji did an outstanding job at the end of creating a chilling atmosphere. The beginning and the last quarter of the film are well-plotted, unfortunately, the middle of the film is lighter on the plot.

The sex scenes are a mixed bag. The actresses and Tay Moji give excellent performances. However, one aspect where Halloween Cums contains issues is the sex scene editing. The sex scenes, especially the one between Tay Moji and Aries Lux, feel edited. And this is because they are. Some of the harder content had to be edited out of the general release. In the future, it would work better if Mystery Moji filmed extra footage to be used in the softer general cut of the film so that the sex scenes don't feel like you are missing parts of the film.

The cast does an excellent job with the nonsexual portions of the film. Aria Carson, who has the second-largest role in the movie as Laurie, does a great job bringing her character to life. Other cast members, like Aries Lux, don't get a chance to work their character on screen, which is unfortunate since there must have been a great story behind her scene that starts in progress.

Overall, the shooting of the movie, by Mystery Moji and Jane Doe, is well done. There are a few points where the camera is out of focus, but these are few and far between. There is a great variety of shooting styles used in the film. Some of the film is shot POV from Michael's eyes — one scene from behind a mask even — and some of the film is shot with more standard shots. Some unique and creative camera angles are used, like when Michael is headed toward Laurie's house, and the scene is shot from ground level, which gives the film a beautiful look. There is great use of establishing shots as well.

The set design and location design was well done, as well. Between the exterior Halloween decorations and the interior Halloween decorations, the viewer feels that Halloween Cums is taking place on Halloween night. This reviewer has seen far bigger budget productions that didn't do this well with the set and location designs.

For a debut feature film by an independent studio, Halloween Cums: A XXX Parody is rather impressive. Yes, some mistakes were made creating the movie, but a lot more was done right, and the final movie is fun to watch. Fans of horror films will want to give Halloween Cums a watch. This reviewer is looking forward to seeing Mystery Moji's future feature work.

There are two editions of the movie, the standard edition that runs for 93 minutes, and the uncut director's cut that runs for 101 minutes. This review is for the standard version. Halloween Cums was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 720p. The picture quality for Halloween Cums is beautiful free from any blemishes or defects. The colors in the movie look great.

Halloween Cums: A XXX Parody is presented with an English MPEG AAC Stereo audio track. The sound for the movie is also excellent free from errors. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Halloween Cums: A XXX Parody is a fun independent feature film from writer and director Mystery Moji. Halloween Cums is Mystery Moji's debut feature film, and despite some issues, it is still well worth watching. The story is fun, and the cast is excellent. Mystery Moji is going to be a director to watch if he keeps going in this direction with his adult films.
