The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is okay. It’s balanced decent, but there are a few noticeable background noises. The video is also pretty average. It’s decently lit and there’s a little grain. It seems very comparable to VHS to me, and has a few remnants that pop up as well.

Music: The music is loud, extremely cheesy, and didn’t come close to working in the movie for me.

Disc Complaints: As usual with JM Productions, there’s no time stamp. This is one of the little things that always stands out to me. Quite often I don’t have the time to watch a full movie, and I also like to jump back to specific spots in a movie. With a time stamp you can jump to specific instances in a movie and with many players leave a movie to come back to the specific instant you left off. Without the time stamp you’re stuck going back to the chapter breaks only. From what I understand it takes almost no effort or cost to include a time stamp, so whenever I come across a DVD without one it always seems a bit cheap to me or like whoever made the DVD didn’t really care that much about the people who are buying it.

Menus: The menus are okay. The main menu has a bit of animation combined with the cover. The chapter menu is a bit odd, as there’s two of them. First is a chapter menu which lets you jump to a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number. There’s also a chapter submenu, which gives you the same thing, only it lets you jump to the oral, straight, anal, or cum part of the scene. Since the chapter menu just offers you a scaled back version of the chapter submenu, it feels a bit cluttered and like somebody didn’t quite look over things too well.

The Feature

The Gutter Mouths series focuses on trash talking women. There’s normally a bit of fast forward fodder at the start of each scene before it gets down to some nasty anal sex.

Scene 1 - Alexandra Nice and J. J. Michaels

After professing his love for her after meeting her on his Jamaican vacation, Alexandra tells J. J. that she wants him to fuck her. He drops his pants to let her suck his cock before giving her a little tongue and finger tickling in return. He fucks her missionary and reverse cowgirl styles before letting Alexandra have a little reverse cowgirl anal action and a little doggie for her derriere. Alexandra shows off some nice hang times and finishes things up with a slightly below average facial.

This is an okay scene. Alexandra puts in some nice energy, but that’s about all I can really say good about the scene. J. J. seems to just be kind of there, and there’s barely any trash talking in the scene. That isn’t to say that Alexandra’s silent, but she just puts in average vocals here. The camera work was also all over the place, and although I like a variety of angles in porn, here they seemed more unfocused than anything. This is a pretty average scene.

Scene 2 - Alex Dane and Alec Metro

Alec stops by Alex’s house to get it on with her when her husband’s gone. She climbs partially out of the pool to suck his cock before laying back on and inflatable mattress for Alex to tongue her holes. He fucks her cunt in missionary and the cowgirls before licking and fingering her ass. He moves on to spear her sphincter in a few common positions before giving her a nice facial.

This is a pretty good scene. Alex puts some very nice energy into it, as well as doing a great job with the trash talking. Alec meets her trash talking extremely well, and between them the trash talking feels natural rather than forced. This is a pretty hot scene.

Scene 3 - Candy Apples, Dave Hardman, Jay Ashley, and Jack Hammer

When Jack gets out of prison, clean and sober, Dave and Jay decide to get him high on pussy with Candy. She starts sucking Jack and Dave while Jay fucks her bald beaver from behind, and then goes down the line of them gobbling their knobs. The guys move on to give her the full DP treatment, starting with a standard DP, and them moving on through a double pussy penetration, and a double anal. Finally they all pop on Candy’s face.

This scene didn’t do a whole lot for me. Candy has always seemed like a girl who’d light herself on fire if she thought she’d get a little attention, and putting her with one of the big suitcase pimps in the business and two fugly guys didn’t do anything for me. I don’t seem to be alone as Jack has plenty of wood problems through the scene, although Candy does put on an energetic and vocal show.

Scene 4 - Elizabeth Starr and Rod Long

Big boobed bleached blonde bimbo Elizabeth gets it on with her ugly ‘rock star’ suitcase pimp in the final scene. They exchange oral favors before Elizabeth bounces on Rob’s cock and lets him give it to her from behind. Rob moves on to bone Elizabeth’s behind missionary style as well as in reverse cowgirl. Finally she titty fucks Ron until he lets go with an impressive load on her mouth.

This scene lost me almost right away. Rob screams suitcase pimp almost immediately, and Elizabeth’s tits are so horribly mutated that I couldn’t help but laugh at her when she took her top off. That said, she does put in some decent vocals and okay energy. This is an okay scene, but nothing too special.

Gutter Mouths 9 didn’t do much for me. The action was a little above average, but not much. There’s some okay trash talking, but the quality of it came and went. Alexandra Nice, who’s barely had any trash talking in it, was one of the best, along with Alex Dane’s, who combined great energy and trash talking. The biggest problem with the feature is that the girls didn’t get the option of “paper or plastic” with most of the guys. That’s right, boys and girls, J. J. Michaels is in the better looking half of the male cast here, which should send a few of you running away in terror. Gutter Mouths 9 has a decent idea, but the execution didn’t quite make it beyond the average level for me.

The Extra Stuff

Bios, which includes a bit of personal information, a photo, and a JM filmography, are included for Alex Dane, Alexandra Nice, and Candy Apples. Trailers are included for three movies, as well as a photo gallery lasting about a minute and a half with five seconds per nice looking snapshot or full screen photo, company information, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about seven minutes. You get to see a bit of extra sex footage for each of the girls, along with a few comments. You even get to see some serious fisting with Candy. It’s okay, but nothing too special.

The Bottom Line:

As usual with JM’s DVDs, rent this one first. The sex is fairly hit or miss, and the trash talking aspect isn’t as much of a focus for the scenes as the anal action. The technical aspects are pretty average, but there’s a little effort towards the extras.

Note to JM Productions: It’s nice to see you put a little effort towards your extras. Now if you’d just pay a little more attention to things such as your menus and try to put a little more care into the overall DVD and your overall attitude.
