Initial Expectations: Gangbangs are very hit or miss for me, but with the regular baseball season ending today before playoffs start, this just seemed like the right movie to review.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced and I didn't hear any background noises. The video is presented in non-anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's clear and well lit, and even mixes in a little black and white footage during the teases to kick up the artistic factor a touch.

Music: There's a bit of music during the tease portion of each scene, but it quickly disappears for the sex.

Menus: The main menu blends the boxcover with a bit of the action for an okay first impression. The chapter menu nicely lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girl in it.

The Feature

Grand Slam collects three progressive gangbangs. Each scene starts out with the girl masturbating and showing off, and then takes her up to six or seven guys one guy at a time. It's a simple twist on the gangbang formula, but one that works well to break this gangbang release apart from so many of the other gangbangs out there.

Scene 1 – Roxxxy Rush, Andrew Andretti, Anthony Hardwood, Brad Baldwin, Horst Baron, Jenner, Seth Dickens, and another guy

Roxxxy starts things out in black fishnets with a little pleated camo and pink skirt, pink and black panties, and a pink and black corset-like top. The action nicely ramps up to the full group, and the scene has a good length for all the action rather than seeming drawn out or cut short. This is a nicely done gangbang scene.

Scene 2 – Joey Valentine, Chris Charming, Harley, Jack Venice, Jenner, Steven French, and Trent Tesoro

Joey starts out in a little pink bikini talking about how new she is to the business with Mike letting her know what he has planned for the scene. This is a pretty good scene. Joey looks great, and does an amazing job taking on all six cocks. She gets into it pretty good at first, but there's a few places where she seems like she might be being pushed a little more than what she likes. Once the facials start, however, she gets back a feeling of comfort and ease, and takes all of them very well. This is another nicely done gangbang scene, but it doesn't work quite as well as the previous scene.

Scene 3 – Lorena Sanchez, Anthony Hardwood, Jack Venice, Jay Lassiter, Jenner, Sascha, and Sergio

This is another well done scene. Not being a gangbang fan the movie started to wear on me a little bit by this scene, but Lorena gets into it very well and takes one heck of a pussy stretching. She's very vocal and energetic, and never seems to be pushed too far. I was a bit surprised with the double dick cream pie, but it does set this scene apart from many others. This is another very well done scene.

Grand Slam is a nicely done progressive gangbang movie. I'm not much of a gangbang fan, but when the girls are good and into it I can find myself getting into them as well. This is one of those where it was pretty easy to get into it because the girls all got into it quite nicely. The scenes nicely work with the progressive gangbang formula to take each girl from one guy up to six or seven, and at the end of it every girl looked like she had a great time and the sex in each girl's scene was a little different. I think Roxxy was my favorite here, but there's nothing wrong with the job Lorena and Joey did. Although it might not come close to having enough guys for a team in each scene, Grand Slam is still a well done progressive gangbang movie.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about four and a quarter minutes with about eight seconds per good looking snapshot. There's also weblinks, a behind the scenes featurette, a bonus scene, and cumshot recaps.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts eleven minutes. Lorena introduces herself before posing for stills. Joey is next as they shoot the bonus scene and they deal with some of the problems between what was planned and the reality of the situation. There's also a little extra footage from the scene. This is a decent little behind the scenes featurette. I would have liked a bit more of Roxxxy and Joey from the main feature, but having a bit of time devoted to the bonus scene is nice as well. This isn't too bad of a behind the scenes featurette.

Bonus Scene – Joey Valentine, Sascha, and Trent Tesoro

Joey starts out in a little pink outfit that doesn't take long to work itself off as Joey shows off for the camera and diddles herself with Sascha and Trent watching. She quickly works towards her ass with her fingers and even breaks out a little toy that she works into it first before letting Sascha work her ass over with it as well. This is a good bonus scene. Joey looks great, and there's fantastic chemistry and energy between them. At the same time, she plays to the camera a bit much and there's plenty of background noises from the camera and a few comments between Mike Metropolis and the two of them. Add in Trent Tesoro, who should have his picture added next to “Third Wheel” in the porno dictionary, and you have a scene that has a heck of a lot going for it and a few things that give it a very odd feeling. It's all explained in the behind the scenes featurette, but with the odd feeling this a great bonus scene and I'm glad that Combat Zone included this one as a bonus scene rather than leaving it on the cutting room floor.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Combat Zone's DVDs can be found online for between about $14 and $25 with most stores offering them for under $20. If you like progressive gangbangs, this one should be well worth the money. Although the movie is significantly shorter than the cover claims, there's some good sex, great effort towards the extras, and some very nice effort put towards the technical aspects. This is a very nicely put together DVD.
