Gorge puts me in mind of a very Quigley Down Under frame of film. Clearly, Dred Scott is aborigine and all these gruff men are frolicking in the wild. Gorge

The Director's Expanded Edit offers us something only a limited edition few will ever see. Two delectable discs (one of the film, and one of bonus material) jam packed full of action. We start off on Disc One as the film opens. Right away, I loved the soundtrack. It's got this dijidarro in the background and these grandiose woodwinds. Totally beautiful and really give you a sense of the landscape. I love landscape porn and the movie really doesn't disappoint in that aspect. It switches from letterbox format to full screen so our eyes never lose sense of everything that is around us. I did feel like the opening credits were a bit long but it was still nice, nevertheless.

Scene One
Raymond Dragon gives us a tour of the film's surroundings. It's almost dreamlike as we're shown shots of him laying down and resting in a nestle of hay and then shots of him running after various naked men in the area (mainly Dred Scott). They make out and then disappear into the bluffs. I wasn't exactly sure where they were headed to until I see them again, in a more secluded place and I see Dred's huge cock down Raymond's throat. This totally could have been hotter if not for the choking and spitting that took place. I mean, Dred can really conjure up some flem and it just grew almost sick. If it had been left out, I would have been sold, though. Totally beautiful and totally statuesque. Just far too much spit. I'm also not that impressed with the wild beard that Dred sports in this film. I get the feeling like I'm supposed to believe he's some wild person out in the hills and he's taking over Raymond Dragon. It's almost racist...

Scene Two

I do get that feel that Raymond is trying to impress this young boy with his boat, though, and taking him for a ride around "daddy's" home away from home. Heh...

Pan away to them docking the boat and another scene, this one much different. Jake Marshall is stick fighting with Dred Scott and they wrestle a bit. I didn't quite get this, and, like I said, it felt weird. Not to mention how much facial hair Jake has on his upper lip, it felt almost like Groucho Marx. Then, we take turns with the two guys sucking each other off. Soon, Raymond Dragon and Matthew York imitate the boys prior. It's all taking place right next to each other. It would have been neat to have seen them all doing this at once but it might have broken my concentration. I'd have to say that once things go anal, Dred definitely let me down. He's normally MUCH more assertive than he is here, but I recall him looking a bit drugged out in some of the landscape shots prior so maybe that could have been it. The cumshots are nice, but still...kind of tame compared to all the film offered via packaging. The landscape almost outshines the performances.

Scene Four
This scene starts with three hikers (Ben Jakks, Carlos Morales, and Rick Hollander) walking deeper and deeper into the brush. Final Word
So in the end, Gorge isn't half bad. It's certainly not the best porn I've seen but then nothing really is if it's compared to the best. It's got it's peaks and valleys but I feel like it's a fine finished product in the end. Maybe not worth it's "limited edition" status but definitely worth a repeat viewing.
