What You Need to Know: The Goddesses appears to be a half compilation release that's obviously trying to cash in on Charlie Sheen's pornstar connections after his series of public meltdowns. It mixes together four older scenes with two new ones (the all girl foursome and Melanie Rios' scene with Mikey Butders). The all girl foursome is fairly short but fun working with a sex toy party type theme with Felony starting out in a white lab coat for an extra little twist. It's a fairly average scene that feels like it would have been much better if it were at least half again as long as it was. Melanie and Mikey's scene mixes things up a bit going with a fair amount of POV that I don't normally expect from Penthouse, along with a lot of shakey camera work that I also don't expect from them both in the POV footage and the other footage. This was easily the weakest scene in the movie, and brought the entire movie down a notch. All three of Bree Olson's scenes are recycled, as is Capri's scene with Puma, but at the same time all four recycled scenes are pretty well done and you even get a little anal from Bree. They're fairly typical Penthouse scenes with a soft and romantic style along with good chemistry and nice camera work. Unlike a lot of the well made compilations out there, The Goddesses seems like it's half trying to hide it's compilation nature by never listing the performers in each scene nor where they come from. To me this is always a boneheaded move as if a viewer knows where a compilation scene comes from and really likes it there's a chance they'll check out the original release. I'll admit that unlike most Penthouse releases I check out I didn't go into The Goddesses with that high of hopes, and it came out feeling like a thrown together compilation just trying to make some quick cash.

Extras: Trailers (6), photo gallery (4:55), weblinks, and a bonus striptease scene with a touch of light masturbation lasting about seven and a half minutes with Capri Anderson.

Verdict: Rent it or just skip it.

Note to Penthouse: If you're going to do a compilation release, please be a bit honest about it and give viewers where the original scenes come from.
