The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced. Although I think I heard a couple minor background noises, the music sometimes has a little different feel and I might have been mistaking the beat of the music for a few minor background noises. The video is very nicely done, and is nicely lit with a slightly soft feel. As always with Jonni Darkko, there’s a bit of camera motion, but it’s smooth and exceptionally well done.

Music: There’s a little music that moves in and out of the movie but is most noticeable during the tease portion of each scene. It has a decent porno feel and rests quietly in the background for a very nice feeling.

Menus: The main menu, as usual, shows some nice care with a bit of animation, a still, and a little of the movie. The chapter menu is also nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girls in it.

The Feature

Jonni Darkko continues to expand his base at Evil Angel with Girls Love Girls as his first all girl movie. Each scene is one girl working on another, and they all get right down to the action with only a little tease to start things off. There’s toys in each scene, but with Jonni Darkko behind the camera you know it’s going to look good.

Scene 1 - Jamie Huxley and Jenna Haze

The girls look like they’re having a very good time, and there’s a few moments where it seems like they completely forget that the cameras are there. When I first saw here I was expecting something a little softer and more cuddly with Sativa having to drive the scene rather than having Brianna seeming to be in control. I also really liked how the scene didn’t rely on toys so much as it helped the scene stand apart a little more. This is another great scene, and one that makes me think I’m going to have to check out more of Brianna Love.

Scene 5 - Gianna Lynn and Nyomi Marcela

That said, there’s still the chemistry that’s made the rest of the movie shine and the scene moves along nicely. Gianna and Nyomi bring Girls Love Girls to a very nice ending.

Girls Love Girls is one heck of a hot all girl movie. Jonni Darkko keeps things fairly simple by only having two girls in each scene, and the format is also fairly simple with every scene involving toys and most involving a bit of anal and some ass licking. That said, although the action might not have a lot of variety I could barely look away from this one the entire time it played. The chemistry between the girls in each and every scene is exceptional, and repeatedly put a smile on my face. There isn’t a bad scene in here, and although Gianna and Nyomi’s scene might have felt like the weakest in the movie, it’s still heads and shoulders ahead of the competition. Girls Love Girls doesn’t go for the extra action that BellaDonna does so well, and that’s part of its strength. There’s very few directors who seem to be able to capture passion between women well, and fewer still who are able to make a scene between women end satisfyingly because they don’t have the pop shot to tell them when it’s done. There’s only one scene here which has even a whisper of that “but wait... there’s more” feeling, and even then it’s just a whisper. Girls Love Girls might be one of the first all girl movies to be released in 2006, but it’s also set the bar for the year for all girl movies. If you’re a fan of girl on girl action, you can’t let this one pass you by.

The technical aspects show some very nice care, and there’s some decent effort put into the extras. This is a great all-girl DVD, and one that I can’t help but highly recommend.
