Girl-girl videos often suck—and not in a good way. The performers say their lines but mostly they just strip as fast as possible, give each other a peck on the cheek, then lick the clit with the tips of their tongues while the recipient screams as if she's having her teeth pulled out with pliers.

Abby Winters's line of girl-girl videos (this is the 23rd installment) go another direction. The girls are young and firm but they're natural. They aren't siliconed, collagened, botoxed, dyed, bleached, or otherwise J. C. Whitney'ed from the help of a team of plastic surgeons and "therapists." The girls don't simply look like they were hired for a day's work; they look like they were filmed while having sex, as if it were something they'd actually being doing even if a camera weren't around. That gives the whole thing a realistic, natural look that's refreshing and rare these days.

Two scenes, each a little more than half an hour. The first features busty Angie and petite Cleo; the second is medium-breasted Blaire and an east-Asian girl, Fae. All are brunettes. Both scenes are pretty much the same in that there's no script: just a bedroom where the girls perform. There's a lot of kissing, caressing, fingering, cunnilingus in various positions, a bit of rimming. The scenes are free-flowing so it doesn't appear routine, as if the girls were responding to a director or following a checklist. Again—it feeds the sense that this is natural and real.

Production values: Up to the usual AW standard, if you're familiar with it. It's shot and mastered in HD but to me it has kind of a film look; like the models, it's a little soft around the edges, the colors are bright but not brilliant. It looks to me more like a "classic" than the uber-sharp and crisp video many of the other studios strive for. I think it works: AW movies do tend to harken back to the "classic" era when the girls were softer and more natural, the sex less choreographed, the sets attractive and the orgasms looked real.

Final verdict: I think this appeals most to viewers who are turned off by the "cum on my filthy, freaky whore body" thing which dominates porn lately; this is a throw-back to classics, both in content and look-and-feel. It's softer, it's laid-back, and it looks genuine. The girls are pretty in a real-world way. It's only an hour, but it's an hour well-spent.
