Initial Expectations: I can’t say that I’ve heard of this one, but with Cameo and Madison I also can’t resist giving it a chance!

Initial Reaction: It shows that sometimes there’s a good reason why many people get bored with all girl movies.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are all over the place. There are some places where the audio is nicely balanced and others where the background noises dominate the audio. The video is much the same way. When the movie started, it was so blurry that I thought I’d have to chug a six pack just to make it look right. It gets better for most of the movie, but many of the distance shots are more than a little blurry. At least most of the action is nicely lit and there isn’t any noticeable camera motion.

Music: The music is very loud and shows why porn music gets made fun of. There’s no denying that this one was made in the early nineties!

Menus: The menus are extremely basic. The main menu Just has a still of Madison and the choices, while the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a very small clip from each scene.

The Feature

Madison is in charge of a special clinic that helps women relax using sensual techniques. That’s all established in the first few minutes of the movie in a lecture by Madison. After that, it’s pretty much just one sex scene to another.

Scene 1 - Cameo, Sharon Kane, Madison, Mia Powers, and Renee Foxx

Madison starts things out helping to guide the other girls through a sensual relaxation technique. She has the girls rub their hands over themselves and strip off anything that might be too restraining. She has the girls rub the inside of their thighs and rub their clits as well as their tits. Knowing that the guests are about to arrive, Madison leaves the girls by themselves to continue. Sharon finishes herself off and then leaves the other three to play together. While Mia plays with herself and then leaves, Renee eats Cameo’s hairy pussy. Renee gets up on her knees to let Cameo tongue and finger her pussy. Finally, Renee looks like she’s done so the camera pans away.

This is an okay at best scene. The girls look okay, but the scene seems to drag on forever for what action there is. The only real action is between Cameo and Renee, and even it is so limited that it’s a bit boring. Most annoying at all is that Madison never shows so much as a titty and then runs off quick. This is a very slow way to start out the movie and didn’t come close to giving a good first impression for the movie.

Scene 2 - Champagne and Cameo

When Cameo finds Champagne lying out on a trailer feeling a bit stressed, she lets her know that she has a strap-on to help her relax. Champagne doesn’t want to rush things, so she has Cameo eat her pussy before returning the favor. Cameo breaks out the strap-on next, and after licking Champagne a little more fucks her both missionary and doggie style. Finally, the scene seems to end when somebody accidentally switches off the camera.

This is another average at best scene. The girls don’t really seem too into each other, and there also seems to be a bit of confusion on how to work a strap-on. There was no way to hold back the yawns during this scene.

Scene 3 - Cheri Monterey and Desiree Roxx; Sharon Kane

Cheri, a cute chick with short brown hair, and Desiree, a nice looking chick with longer and curly black hair, start off their scene playing catch with a pink ball. When Desiree kicks it away they both seem to think that it’s time to get down to the sex. Desiree pulls up Cheri’s top to suck her little titties before letting Cheri return the favor. Desiree works on Cheri with her tongue and fingers before lying back so Cheri can eat and finger her in return. As the girls work on each other, Sharon stumbles upon them and rubs herself gently while watching. Cheri breaks out a double dildo and fucks Desiree with it before getting on the other end as they bump butts. Finally, the camera fades out as Sharon moves away.

This is yet another scene that doesn’t quite make the average mark. The chemistry between the girls is better here, but it never gets at all exciting or drew me in. I think part of this might be because the camera work was done in a way that you never really got to see what was being done to one of the girls along with her reaction to it. Regardless, I was bored again.

Scene 4 - Sharon Kane and Madison

When Sharon shows up at Madison’s door with a few ideas, Madison pushes Sharon back into a chair to let her know that she has some ideas of her own. The girls kiss before Madison works her fantastic tongue down over Sharon’s tits. She keeps her tongue moving south, and licks up Sharon’s leg before sliding it across her pussy. When she finally comes up, Sharon kisses her way around Madison’s neck and ear before having Madison kneel on a chair and put her other leg up so she can kiss her from her ankle all the way up to her pussy. Sharon continues to munch Madison’s muff until the camera fades out.

This is easily the best scene of the movie, and it actually makes it to the above average mark. Sharon and Madison make the scene playful and fun, and unlike the other scenes, it actually caused a little blood to flow below my belt. Unfortunately, they just go back and forth and then the scene fades out.

Scene 5 - Sharon Kane, Cheri Monterey, Desiree Roxx, Mia Powers, and Renee Foxx

Sharon leads one more group session to finish things up. She breaks out a bag of toys and passes them around encouraging the girls to use them. As most of the girls play with themselves, she moves down to eat Cheri’s pussy while encouraging the other girls to feel free to work on themselves. Desiree moves down to eat Renee, and soon after Mia breaks out her strap-on to fuck Desiree from behind. Finally, the scene fades out.

This scene is a little better than the opening scene, but not much. Sharon gives the scene a playful feel with some of her comments, but others seem so “girl powerish” that it came off more like a pep talk at times than a porno scene. Thankfully the scene doesn’t focus too much on masturbation, but it still doesn’t really seem like it wants to go anywhere. This is a solidly below average scene.

The Girls Club does a very good job of showing why so much porn from the early nineties is made fun of. The girls are cute, but the camera work leaves plenty to be desired and the chemistry is greatly lacking. There are a few reactions that make it look like the girls are having fun, but for the most part I was bored. The only scene that really did anything for me was Sharon and Madison’s pairing, and even that left plenty to be desired. The Girls Club is an uninspired all girl movie that left me bored and easily distracted.

The Extra Stuff

There’s a cast listing (just a listing, not a cast listing by scene), boxcovers from a few other VCA Classic releases, a poor looking photo gallery that lasts over three minutes with about ten seconds per full screen photo, and commercials.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many VCA Classics DVDs can be found online for between about $10 and $20. Rent this one first before you pay anything close to that. The action is uninspired, the technical aspects are lacking, and there’s no real effort put into the extras. This one can be easily skipped.

Note to VCA: It’s great that you release your earlier movies at a lesser cost, but a little effort toward the extras could go a long way. A cast listing by scene would be great for people who aren’t familiar with the classic performers, and a bonus scene should easily fit on the DVD as well.
