Key to the success of Adult Time's Girlcore series is the fact that porn aficionados of a certain age love having their sexual pleasure centers and fanboy fantasies triggered multiple times in the same viewing. While most Girlcore features focus on one or two specific notions, "Somebody's Watching Me" -- starring Alina Lopez as Susan, an 18-year old teen left home and Gia Paige as a demonically possessed woman -- ties in numerous tropes of horrorcore, science fiction, and fear-enhanced 80s pop culture. If there wasn't hardcore lesbian sex involved, it could be considered overkill.

Alina Lopez and Gia Paige shine equally here as co-stars. Lopez's turn as the teenage tart lying to her parents about being sick to have a wild home alone where anything goes is fun. Add in her "damsel in distress" as she picks up the phone to hear ominous heavy breathing, and it feels like enough of a recall to every scary movie that "Scary Movie" ever lampooned that you know that some sort of horrifically intense drama is forthcoming.

Gia Paige maniacally enters the scene and Lopez's bedroom. She's complaining about being possessed, and there are the most F-grade camera and lighting effects happening as she notes this. Quite simply, there are flashing strobes, and what appears to be a camera jostling his camera rig occurring. If a purist for horror and porn, this will take you mentally out of the scene. However, if you're willing to play along for the purpose that you're intensely interested in why this film has taken a turn from A-level erotic horror to F-grade 80s VHS sci-fi, you're handsomely rewarded.

It ultimately turns out at the end of the film that Gia Paige has gelatinous eggs implanted in her vagina like so many insertable balls. Alina Lopez fisting Gia Paige's pussy to remove them is the great benefit of this wild notion, and it closes the film most entertainingly. But yes, there are demons possibly hatching eggs in their vaginas, as well as orgasms accompanied by thunderclaps here, too. Again, if into Girlcore for less grandiosely fantastical ideas rendered to screen, this isn't for you. But if you're willing to strap in for a mind-expanding ride, this one will provide a blast in numerous ways.

Lopez and Paige's on-screen chemistry is unique due to the plot of the film. Paige needs Lopez to aggressively make love to her to ensure that her demonic possession no longer occurs. As well, it appears as if Paige has been rolling around in the dirt outside just before demanding to have her and Lopez strip nude and commence to lovemaking. Thus, there's a sense of dissonance here that is initially offputting, but once the twin energies present connect, it's a strength of the film. Paige is filthy in every way, while Lopez is nurturing. Lopez attempts soft caresses, while Paige appears perpetually obsessed by a desperate need for orgasmic release.

Key to the film is a moment wherein Lopez and Paige scissor-fuck for the second time. Lopez's initial reticence has disappeared, and she's firmly in control of the situation. However, as soon as the screen tremors, Gia Paige's face achieves a level of near-orgasm and fear that makes the moment where when they immediately decide to switch, and the now enraptured Lopez and the cum-starved Paige are moving with matching passion. Watching Gia Paige face fuck Alina Lopez with her engorged, wet pussy is amazing. Moreover, Paige's ass being as enticingly thick as it is and taking up most of the camera frame at that particular angle a highlight unto itself. "Somebody's Watching Me" is a film that, as a whole body of work, maybe too much for many, but reduced to a study of two differently built female bodies at play still has considerable erotic value.

"Somebody's Watching Me" has one helluva cliffhanger ending that shall not be ruined in this review. But, it's an homage to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (which in itself is an homage to "An American Werewolf in London") that, when it hits, asks more questions of what could make this better as a longer, 90-minute film. When Girlcore scores, it's either when the film's sex supersedes its 80s inspirations, or when the characters presented not only have intensely passionate sex but present characters that demand more in-depth, more extended exploration. The latter occurs here. One hopes we continue to journey into 80s horrorcore and science fiction via pornography.
