Girl Dick is a vignette-style feature transgender adult movie from director Tyler St. Syn that feels like much of the dialog was improvised by the cast as they went along — which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The story for the movie is that Michelle (Michelle Austin), Betty (Betty Black), and Kristen (Kristen Kraves) all decide that they are going to stay in instead of going out to the trans club. The three start out having a pajama party and sharing horror pick up stories that lead into a rousing game of “never have I ever...” that sparks the night's real festivities.

Girl Dick can best be described as a series of connected vignettes. The vignettes all carry a common theme and each one acknowledges the events from the previous vignettes but there is no real story arc to the movie. Since Girl Dick is about a group of three friends experimenting with each other, a true story with some actual character development would have helped the movie. With the exception of the opening vignette, the rest of the vignettes seem designed to get to the sex as quickly as possible. There is nothing wrong with an all sex movie, however, if that is all a movie is going to be there shouldn't be any attempt at a plot or real scenario.

The dialog and stories told in the movie seem to be mostly improvised by the cast as the movie goes along. As to whether this is a good aspect or bad aspect is up to the viewer. It is very clear from the actresses' interactions with each other that all three are familiar with each other and comfortable with each other, which is a great aspect of the movie. However, often the viewer isn't in on the joke that the three actresses are sharing with each other, which isn't always such a great aspect.

The sex scenes are nicely done. As previously mentioned in the review, the actresses all appear to be very comfortable with each other and that definitely comes across during the sex scenes. For viewers who are only interested in the sex, Girl Dick has a lot to offer in the four sex scenes presented in the movie.

Viewers who like a plot will find it disappointing that Girl Dick really skimps on the plot and characters after an opening that felt like there was going to be plot and character development. Viewers who are only interested in the sex scenes should love this movie.

Michelle Austin Films and VIP Digital Media have done a good job with their DVD release of Girl Dick. Girl Dick was shot digitally in 4K and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 480i. The image for the movie looks great with no blemishes or defects that were noted during the viewing. The colors in the movie look good.

Girl Dick is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo audio track. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times and the audio presentation for the movie sounds good.

Michelle Austin Films has included a couple of extras on the release. There is an 18 minute behind the scenes featurette that mostly features the cast having a ball while making the movie. There is also a photo gallery included on the disc.

How much you as a viewer will enjoy Girl Dick depends on what you go into the movie looking for. The three cast members clearly are having a great time with each other and enthusiastically enjoy their sex scenes. However, the story is rather non-existent with essentially four related vignettes making up the movie. If you are in the market for some enjoyable transgender sex scenes, definitely give Girl Dick a view, however, if you like some story with your sex Girl Dick will be disappointing. Michelle Austin Films and VIP Digital Media have done a nice job with their DVD release of Girl Dick with good audio and video quality.
