Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice anything close to a background noise. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. The picture is clear and smooth, and although there's nice use of shadows it did sometimes seem a little much to me.
The Movie:
Gia: Lesbian Supermodel follows Raven Rockette as Gia, a down on her luck brunette that decides on a lark to follow up on a card she was given to become a model. Soon after she's the top model in the circuit, needing to be booked months ahead. While enjoying the high life she's drawn back to her roots with a call from her ex-girlfriend Maddy.

Gia: Lesbian Supermodel is quite possibly the best lesbian feature I've ever watched. Granted, there aren't a lot of lesbian features out there, but Nica's Gia completely fires on all cylinders. The story is well done and the cast does a fantastic job bringing it to life. The camera work and cinematography is just as good, and knows when to make things close and intimate and when to expand out to make the movie all the bigger and more glamorous. Of course there's also the sex, and as usual with Nica Noelle's movies there's an intimacy and reality to it that really helps to set it apart from most of the other movies out there. Raven Rockette does a fantastic job in the lead role, and makes it easy to see why she's received some love this award season in the Best Actress categories. Maddy O'Reilly is every bit as solid, and continues to show why she's a performer one should be keeping an eye on. You can really see the seeds of a superstar in her performance here. They're joined by Samantha Ryan, Veronica Snow, Sinn Sage, and Alyssa Branch, all of whom add nicely to the overall story and do every bit as well with their clothes on as they do off. If there's a complaint, for me the only one was that I'm not really sure what makes this a parody. Yes, it looks at some of the darker side of modeling, but it definitely feels like an original release. If it would have been tweaked into more of a narrated biography style I could definitely see it, but as is it feels like a well done standard porn feature. Gia: Lesbian Supermodel is an extremely well done lesbian feature that's very deserving of all the attention its received as well as much more.
The Extras:
The extras include behind the scenes featurettes and trailers for four of Nica Noelle's other Girl Candy releases.
The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little over a minute and a half. You get a few words with Alyssa and Veronica after their scene that's plenty of fun, along with Nica chiming in from behind the camera. This is a very short featurette that adds nicely to the overall package, and also made me wish there was more from throughout the movie.
The blooper reel lasts about forty seconds. You get a little fun with things going wrong on the pole as well as several flubbed lines. This is a short but sweet little extra that does add nicely to the overall release.
Final Thoughts:
It's an excellent lesbian feature that shows just why Nica Noelle has not only the following she has, but why she deserves to have one that's much larger than what it is.
