The Ghost and Maggie Moore is a spanking fetish feature adult movie from writer Bethany Burke and director Colin Rowntree; the pair that brought us the vastly underrated modern classic Succubus. The Ghost and Maggie Moore is first and foremost a spanking fetish movie, so the topic of spanking does manage to get worked into every piece of the movie. However, Bethany Burke and Colin Rowntree have kept The Ghost and Maggie Moore accessible to all viewers, not just viewers who have a spanking fetish.

The story for The Ghost and Maggie Moore revolves around Gregory Cottage. Gregory Cottage was built in 1790 in New England by Captain Marcus Gregory (Paul Martin) for his wife. In the present day, Maggie Moore (Maggie Stewart) is the last living descendant of Captain Marcus Gregory and operates Gregory Cottage as a bed and breakfast. The problem is, Gregory Cottage is haunted by the ghost of Captain Marcus Gregory, who had a fetish for spanking. The only people who can hear or see Captain Marcus Gregory are direct female descendants; however, this doesn't stop Captain Marcus Gregory from messing with the guests.

The guests at Gregory Cottage for the current weekend are the newlyweds Gabrielle (Angelique LeClaire) and Andy (Celt), Rosemary (Renee Evans) and her husband Pauli (David Pierson) who are rekindling their marriage, and Juliana Smith (Godiva) who has just broken up with her boyfriend, Tom. Maggie Moore finds out that not only can Juliana Smith hear Captain Marcus Gregory, but she can see him as well.

First off, unlike most fetish movies, The Ghost and Maggie Moore has an actual story that does more than just introduce spanking scenes. The Ghost and Maggie Moore is heavily plotted with an enjoyable and comedic story. The Ghost and Maggie Moore contains four spanking scenes and, to the surprise of this reviewer, includes one full-on sex scene, which isn't standard for fetish movies such as this one.

The location where The Ghost and Maggie Moore was shot is absolutely perfect. Everything about the site screams rural New England bed and breakfast. It is also refreshing to see a different location in an adult movie than just another area in southern California. The Ghost and Maggie Moore is beautifully shot with some artistic shots that help the movie.

Colin Rowntree and Bethany Burke have elevated The Ghost and Maggie Moore beyond just being a standard fetish movie by adding a full plot and humor to the movie. Obviously, since The Ghost and Maggie Moore is a spanking fetish movie, there is a heavy emphasis on the act of spanking; however, due to how the movie was made, viewers who don't have that fetish will still find a lot to like, and viewers that do have a spanking fetish should be in spanking heaven.

The Ghost and Maggie Moore was made initially for Spanking Epics, a spanking fetish movie company, and is now being distributed by Wasteland. Wasteland has done an excellent job with their streaming and download edition of The Ghost and Maggie Moore. The Ghost and Maggie Moore was shot digitally and is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 720p. The image quality for The Ghost and Maggie Moore is beautiful and free from any noticeable defects. The colors in the movie look natural.

The Ghost and Maggie Moore is presented with an English MPEG Stereo audio track. The sound makes good use of the Stereo environment. The dialog is clear and easy to understand at all times, and there aren't any noticeable blemishes present in the sound.

Wasteland didn't include any extras for their streaming and download edition of The Ghost and Maggie Moore.

The Ghost and Maggie Moore has an exciting and complete story that works hand-in-hand with the spanking scenes to create a movie that won't just entertain spanking fetishists but is also accessible to all viewers who enjoy feature movies. Wasteland has done an excellent job with their streaming and download edition of The Ghost and Maggie Moore with excellent sound and video quality.
